On Tuesday almost everyone at work will be on a trip, so I plan to come early and print some stuff I need. Mostly business cards for me and my wife. I've put about 20 of them (for each one of us) on A3 page, put crop marks to mark every card's crop spot, saved it as a PDF Press file - and then I'm gonna print it on a special hard paper we have there. I always say, that if you can take advantage of the equipment at work - do it!

Well I had a boring weekend. All of the excitement was a couple days before so I guess it makes sense to have a boring weekend. Nonetheless I was able to watch the famous Red Right 88 game. (Sorry Cleveland fans) Sipe shouldn't have thrown that pass in the first place as Newsome was double covered.

That one doesn't really hurt since I was so young that I don't remember it. Now "The Drive" or "The Fumble"? I have carried deep emotional pain from those games for years.

Well, I got to work at 7:45 am and printed all the cards on hard paper and cropped them. Looks good, just like a pro!
So everyone is on a trip, except for me and another designer (and maybe a few more on other floors, but it looks like the building is empty). That designer is pregnant and she left about half an hour ago to see a doctor and have some exams, she'll probably be back in a couple of hours. So now I'm basically alone here, master of the house! I just hope that no one calls and tells me to do something urgent and send it directly to the client. I don't like being in touch with clients, that's the account managers' job.

Haha, im basically alone here too, boss is gone, my co-worker with the office next to me is out all AM and the guy with the office across from mine is out all week. So i just shut my door, turn on some music and relax.

Cool! My day is pretty sweet too, except for the fact that I had to crop 30 rounded invitations because there wasn't anyone else to do it (and the company wanted to save money so they decided to crop it in-house). But at least I got some help from an account manager (had no idea she's here). Sweet lady...too sweet...mmm...LOL. Thank god I'm a married man!
Most of the day I just sat here and watched some vids of Chronicles of Riddick (PC) on youtube. Someone had uploaded a walkthrough of the entire game. And my supervisor sent me a text message saying that if there's nothing to do, I can leave at 5 pm. And now it's 5 pm, so...going home!

I've been getting into some real random sports lately. First I started to play golf, now it's tennis. For some reason me and my friend decided to get racquets and play for the hell of it, and it's pretty addicting. I can't serve or anything really, but I'm decent at slicing and forehands. Another sport I may have to play in intramurals.
