It looks like the Cold War is starting all over again. I just read that Russia has halted their military cooperation with NATO and hints (more like using as a pretext for leaving) that the Alliance can't partner with both Russia and Georgia.

I was only a kid at the tail end of the Cold War but it was pretty tense at times what with nukes literally pointed at each other and the destruction of civilizations at the push of a button.

I was only a kid at the tail end of the Cold War but it was pretty tense at times what with nukes literally pointed at each other and the destruction of civilizations at the push of a button.

My friend that works at the Verizon store I'm trying to get in to, just texted me. I guess another position opened up, getting a little hyped up. Might need to buy some new dress clothes this weekend.

Good luck! BTW, do you guys (Americans) wear a tie and elegant shirt/pants for a job interview? And I'm not talking about a high position, just a middle-class one.
Because here, for most positions I was interviewd, the interviewer mostly wore T-short and jeans, maybe polo short. So it's quite embarrassing to wear elegant clothes. I usually wear polo shirt and dark jeans and it gets the job done.

Yeah, Russia is having a fit about us putting those missile defense systems in Poland. Why should they care unless they think they may have to launch a nuke into Europe someday?

It also seems that they are digging in and are going to be occupying Georgia and raping children, killing innocent people, and destroying Georgians' property for a good long time.

Of course, Putin and the Russian president were KGB members, so I'm not surprised the Soviet Union is essentially back.

Other than that, congratulations to Scott for the moderator position!
