Everyone at work went to our other building to drink a toast for Rosh Hashana (our New Year). So I managed to skip it and not go there (I stood at the corner of my room, behind another computer, so no one could see I'm there...lol). Now I'll have 20 minutes of peacefulness. Either way I'm soon leaving, and no one will notice I'm missing there anyway, so...

This has been one of the craziest weekends of football i've seen in a LOOONG time.

I just hope the Bills can pull out a win. I never thought i'd type that about the Bills this weekend "sigh".

Thank goodness the Bills won Oh and my Jays won their final game of the year. Thank goodness Vernon Wells hit two jacks because it would've been very sad if no player had at least 20 HRs.

Great weekend.

Penn State won, Jets won, Moose won 20, and I won 2 of my fantasy baseball leagues. 1 of them coming down to the wire, but Lincecum's dominating performance won me the matchup.

Oh, fantasy football, you slay me.

I fell asleep during the Redskins/Cowboys game (I can only see Dallas on my TV so many Sundays before I lose interest), I was down something like 40-25, the Chargers were doing a whole lotta nothing...

And I wake up to see fourth quarter touchdowns by Tomlinson (twice), Gates, and Lee Evans, and I'm up 83-46 with my opponent only having David Akers left.

So I watched the season premieres of the Fox animation block.

The Simpsons: blah, tho I liked the Ned/Homer chase sequence
King of the Hill: Actually pretty good. Not LOL funny but there were some good chuckles
Family Guy: A bit uneven but what was funny had me rolling especially the punchline at the end of the show in regards to the main storyline
American Dad: The strongest of the four and had a ton of laughs

Thursday is supposed to be my last day at work (and we don't work Tuesday and Wednesday because it a national holiday). My boss not sure yet when I can leave, his boss not sure too and no one tells me anything. But I don't care, I'm not gonna come on Sunday. I gave them 2 weeks as it says on the contract (2 weeks when you work less than a year, a month when you work a year or more). I'll wait to see if my boss comes today, if not I'll go to the HR supervisor (hopefully she's here), but either way I'm not gonna show up here next week.
It never happened to me at any other company, always I knew the specific date ahead.

EDIT:
Just talked to my boss and he confirmed that Thursday is my last day, so I sent an e-mail to everyone here - telling them about it. The funny thing is that I just found out that 2 more people here are leaving soon...one of them just started to work here a month ago (and he's not the first one to leave after a month).
