She's a pleasure 90% of the time and a chore 10% of the time, but that 10% is awful. I know it's not healthy for me, which is why I want it resolved ASAP. I tried texting her today with the textbook "hope you're having a good day" line, but no answer.

Time to cut the cord on this one then. Trust me, you're going to end up wasting a lot of energy on this chick. Meanwhile she already knows when she's going to start talking to you again and you can't do anything to make it happen sooner.

Just end the friendship.

You know another thing, my friend, you are doing exactly what any immature girl wants - You are chasing after them. You are playing "the game."

Ignore her for a while. She will either come back and speak with you or let you go, but if you keep showing her what a desperate, insecure, twisted little man you, she is never going to think of you as anything other than weak and controllable.

Nut up man. If she tries talking to you after a few days act like it's not a big deal. Right now you're just giving her tons of attention and she is loving having you at her feet.

She has no interest in being your friend. Forget the relationship aspect that people are telling you here. Forget it. That's not the issue. The issue is how she's treating you when you're supposed to be "best friends". That's the important part. Trust me, I seemingly went through the exact sort of situation with you, twice, with the same girl, in consecutive years. People kept telling me it was trouble, and I kept going back for more abuse because I thought that the friendship was worth it. I was stuck in the past of how our friendship WAS.

It'll never be like that again. And even if it was, it WILL undoubtedly slip back into a horrible situation. Just like it did with me. I stopped talking to this chick in June 07. She texts me in October 07 asking when we're ever gonna talk. I ignored it. Later that night she comes online and she asks me why I'm not responding to her texts. I get into a small conversation with her and told her that if you can guarantee me the same situation wont happen again, then maybe. If not, then sorry. She said there are no guarantees in life and I said okay, see ya. She calls me drunk in December 07 crying to me this that. I told her I'll talk to her in a couple weeks when things settled down with the death in my family. I talk to her in January 08 and things were good. She actually was treating me like a best friend should.

But low and behold, the situation soured again. By June 08, I sent her an e-mail, let her how I felt about the direction she was taking in her life, got no response, and didn't talk to her since. She tried texting me drunk a few weeks ago saying "I Miss You" and I didn't respond.

It's the only language these chicks know.

JJ I can't say anything else. Just read all the posts between this one and your initial question/statement.

Just let her go. If she can't get over the "Bone Me" joke, then what good is she?

What would happen if you said "That's what she said" to her? Would she pull this same game?

Not worth it, IMO.

JJ it isn't worth it at all, trust me. It will suck for a couple months but you'll feel better afterwards. And if you do happen to make friends with another girl down the road, make sure she can take a joke. One of my best friends now is my ex-girlfriend and I can stay friends with her cause I can make off-color jokes or jokingly call her a whore and she just laughs at it instead of trying to take it to heart (which is good cause I have a dark, twisted sense of humor)

Mine was awesome. Tony Romo is the effin man. Didn't play football, doing that on Sunday, should be fun. It's been awhile, a little rusty probably. Once I get in the flow of the game, I'll be making cuts that LT can't make.

I'm working today, unfortunately. I went to the mall for some reason, wow packed, and got a couple shirts. Passed by Modells, where I work, and Walmart is next door to us, and jesus christ I'm going to have to leave in like a half hour just to park, I work at noon. Lame.

How many times have you guys seen your boys get back into with a girl after she did them dirty? Or have you yourself done the same thing? I can proudly say I never have and never will. I find that most people are hopeless in these situations.

You have to decide for yourself and that's all there is to it. Do you want to keep being treated like a piece of **** because you made a simple joke? Or do you want to get on with your life which does not require this girl?

Step back and look at the big picture. Too many times people are too engrossed in their situation that they think the world revolves and relies on it. It's pathetic that, what it all boils down to, is you're being controlled by this girl. Her not talking to you is making you go crazy. That is sad. Just open your damn eyes!
