I don't think the bike would be a good idea. Ask her if she'll buy a car with you instead. Much more valuable and, if you want to leave, just jump behind the wheel and speed away.

Re: OS Off Topic
Take, for instance, the period of Tuesday night (when we started getting close again and decided to try the whole more than friends thing for a second time) to Friday night (the last time I saw her, after her whole fainting incident). We talked a lot, we hung out a lot, when we weren’t she would text me, I would text, her, blah blah blah. It seemed like something was going on between us…we hung out at least once every day and when we weren’t together we would text.
Then, over the past two and a half days (Saturday to the present) we have talked for all of…well, nothing. A few random text messages here or there, she hung out with her roommates and a few of their friends, I hung out and watched the fight with my boys…no big deal, I personally like that because it keeps us from getting sick of each other and, I mean, come on, definitely need some time away.
However, when we don’t hang, her texts are sparse and short, she doesn’t try too hard to hang out, etc. She just seems busy and distant when we haven’t been hanging out. Honestly, I don’t really care too much because, like I said, it just doesn’t matter too much. If she doesn’t want anything more than friendship I’m fine with that and will move on…just sucks that I really have no control over the situation.
That's kinda like the situation I had where we'd hang out everyday and when weren't, we'd text alot.
When yall hang out, is it for several hours everytime? Or does it vary? She might be wanting you to drop by and see her for a minute or two on some of the days that you don't hang out. I had an ex like that. She'd want me to come see her before her class and it'd only be for like 10 minutes but she acted differently when she knew I was only going to be there for a couple minutes.
Females are weird like that. They think more of you when you take 10 minutes out of your day to see them than when you take several hours out of your day to see them.Twitter

Longhorn you're in the friend zone as you probably know.
I'd:
Flirt more
Not be available
Don't be that fallback guy she can talk to...you're a body pillowComment

Word of advice...Never, ever get caught with marijuana.
I honestly feel as though I've been raped. There is a giant knot in my stomach, and it just won't go away. I feel like I was violated last night, and there isn't a damn thing I can do to change it. My Liberties trampled on, shown no respect, and the potential for my entire future to be flushed down the toilet if I lose financial aid.
It's probably one of the worst feelings in the world. And what did I do to deserve this? I watched a movie with some friends in my own damn bedroom, disrupting no one. It's truly disgusting to think of what happened to me and my roommate last night.
Understand completely man its terrible. The whole time I was being questioned I keep thinking all of this for just a little damn plant that grows in the ground. Couldnt we use some of this money to feed the poor in our country rather then this. Thankfully I believe I am in the clear as its been two weeks now and I havent heard anything from the cops or the DA so I dont think I am getting charged with anything which is a great relief and hopefully your situation gets better.Comment

Re: OS Off Topic
Seems to be a lot of woman drama in here lately.
Sadly, not matter how much of an expert we think we are, or no matter how much input we try and give, none of us still have no idea what is going through their minds.
Be damned if any of us will quit trying thoughI post the frog

Re: OS Off Topic
Asexuality is a sexual orientation that describes individuals who do not experience sexual attraction.[1] The use of asexuality as a human sexual orientation has been described in academic studies since the late 1970s, and a community of self-identified asexuals coalesced in the early 21st century, aided by the popularity of online communities.[1] One commonly cited study placed the incidence rate of asexuality at 1%.[2]
Asexuality is not the same as celibacy, which is the abstention from sexual activity. Some asexuals do have sex,[3] and most celibates are not asexual, or considered as such.Comment

Just sad to see. It surprises me they didn't pay off the first mortgage when the show was there, they usually do, as well as provide money for the inevitable hike in property taxes.Comment

Re: OS Off Topic
As far as the "flirting more/not be available" advice...I have never flirted this much with a girl (and its working) and I have said no to her more than she has said no to me...she actually just said "no" for the first time last night and it was because she had to work tonight.
What I need to do is make her actually decide what she wants...a friend that she can hook-up with and trust....or a boyfriend. However, if I do that I run the risk of losing everything completely and I'm not at the point I want to risk that. Yet. Within the next week and a half, before I leave school, I'm going to have to figure it out because there are a few girls at home I want to "hang out with" and it'd be good to know if I was single.Comment

Re: OS Off Topic
See, that is the thing…I’m in the limbo between the friend zone and the relationship zone. She has admitted to having feelings more me on multiple occasions, we have hooked up quite a bit (especially recently), she’ll make sure she gets a goodnight kiss or two before I leave every time, etc. But…she’s scared of relationships so we’re not at that level, either, which is why I am going to put myself between the friend zone and the zone I want to be in. We’re more than friends and there are feelings between the both of us to put us somewhere between “friends with benefits” and “together.” We do (a lot) more than talk but I don’t think either of us consider us a couple at the moment because neither of us wants to bring up that kind of commitment. If that makes any sense at all.

Re: OS Off Topic
See, that's also the thing...
If that was true, she wouldn't have kept me around as long as she did, since we didn't start getting physical until recently and we still spent time together.
Basically...I'm whatever she wants me to be that night, most times it is both since we'll go from serious talk to hooking up in the span of...25 seconds.
Like I said...I need to talk to her about what she actually wants, that much I know, because judging from my retelling of our situation to you guys and getting the two opposite ends of the spectrum...I'd say it is as confusing as I thought it was to begin with.
Gotta love college "relationships" (aKa things that are more than one-night-stands)
Oh, I'll also throw in one part of our conversation from Tuesday night - the night we started getting physical once again. She started talking about how she didn't want anymore meaningless, random hook-ups, and talked about how she didn't want to just have the one-night-stands and ****. Then, after we hooked up that night, I brought that point up - her saying that she didn't want anymore meaningless hook-ups - and she smiled and said "You don't have to worry about that, though."
Basically...this girl has no idea what she wants and it confuses the **** out of me.Last edited by Beantown; 12-08-2008, 05:55 PM.Comment
