Someone just threw a firework right outside my basement windows. Guess the kiddies are out of school early this year.

Funny part is I could tell they were in a 4-banger with bad exhaust and they drove back by my house a few minutes later. Too bad I didn't get a plate number.

Are you a teacher or someone who would have upset a group of immature people?

I think I'm totally stupified by this recent discovery that you can have more than 9 speed dial webpages in Opera. Right now I've increased it to 24 and I can't decide whether it's super convenient or an overwhelming information overload.

I'm not a teacher, and I'm pretty sure I haven't upset anyone lately.

Probably just random. We (My house and the three or four houses right by me) get a lot of the random kiddie crap because of where we are in the neighborhood. If you go one way, you're at a major street within about 10 seconds, and if you go the other way, we can't see you because of the houses and trees.

I'm just happy it didn't break a window. I know it had to be extremely close because I could see it light up my ceiling over the blinds, and that's with lights on, my TV on, and my monitor.

Yeah, good thing nothing was damaged. People can be idiots.

well, after an expedition to my kitchen, i found a granola bar, some funky crackers that are like pretzels on one side and crackers on the other (theyre called "flipsides"), and a bottle of blue powerade. Sounds like a feast.

Haha, nice cats you got there.

We have two cats, one which we adopted four-and-a-half years ago in West Virginia at the Kanawha County Animal Shelter (Stripes) and another which is probably about eight months old which we found sleeping under our deck over the summer (Snoopy). We took her in and now she's one of the family.

Stripes doesn't like to be held much and likes to maintain his distance. He likes petting, but he'll never lay in your lap unless you hold him down. He will sleep on your bed on the other end sometimes, though.

Snoopy is exactly the opposite. She meows all the time and is always wanting attention. She loves to be held and loves to be played with and petted. She will lay on the bed close to you, but she usually sleeps downstairs on the back of the couch in the living room looking out the window.
