    Interview with superjames1992

How long have you been reading Operations Sports and what brought you here?

Well, I started reading under another user name in March 2007 when I learned about OS over at the 2K forums. I since forgot that password, though I never actually posted during that span. I joined under my current user name in June 2007 to post in the Dynasty HQ section. I started venturing in the other sub-forums such as the college basketball forum and such in the next few months and really liked the site. I posted a lot in the college football forum and was widely know for my Big East homerism posts.

What made you decide to support Operation Sports?

Well, I didn't actually donate myself, but Aggies07, Dkgojackets, and some others were offering to give out Christmas presents in December 2007 in the forum of donations, so Aggies07 gave me a nice blue name! A great, merry thanks to him, though I have not seen him on here much lately.

    Your favorite sports teams?

    NCAAB: West Virginia Mountaineers
    NCAAF: West Virginia Mountaineers
    NFL: Carolina Panthers
    MLB: Boston Red Sox
    NBA: San Antonio Spurs
    NASCAR: Jeff Gordon

    What are your hobbies?

Well, videogaming, like most of us on here. I also enjoy playing basketball, football, and others sports, though I am not really very good at any of them. I also enjoy model railroading, though since my move to North Carolina from West Virginia last year, I have not really had a chance to put up another layout since this house is a bit smaller than our old one.

Tell us about about your family.

My mom's name is Cindy and my dad's name is Ed. I don't have any brothers or sisters, which sometimes I like and sometimes I don't. I am 15 years old going on 16 in July.

Thanks again for the site. It is nice as this is really the first and only forum I visit regularly. I visit the 2K forums (mostly just the College Hoops sub-forum) as well, but I like OS more overall. It's really nice to have a place to learn about the latest videogames and talk sports with hundreds of other people as we can do here. I like the wide variety of people we get on here and the fact you get to connect with people from all over the country and even the world.

Yes, I am hated by many for my occassional Big East homerism in the college football section, but it's all cool. I understand I get a little homeristic (new word, lol!) soemtimes. But I got the last laugh with West Virginia's win in the Fiesta Bowl!!!
