I'm surprised you didn't drop a holy **** when that car crashed. What happened to that guy on the bike? He looked pretty out of it when you stopped him.

One of the ladies you questioned had a bunch of nasty scabs on her face. I was surprised one of the ladies started crying about how the incident would ruin her career. $5 that says those ladies are into drugs.

Does the Cops crew wear bulletproof vests? If I was on patrol, I wouldn't want a camera crew with me. What happens if a suspect pulls out a gun and starts shooting? I wouldn't want the burden of not only taking care of myself but also the crew from Cops.
The guys (John and Hank) both wore bullet proof vests. They were both great to work with and were very easy going. They never pushed a story and were actually a great set of eyes. John had been doing it for 15+ years and has probably seen more stuff than most cops.

Initially I told the guy the guy on the bike to get the heck out of there. I don't know if they showed it but I grabbed him and tossed him to the side before I ran off. He just rode away never to be seen again. Funny story is we had to find him later to get him to sign the release. So all the cops had a picture of him. We got lucky and found him when a clerk across the street at 7-11 saw him and called John.

It's kinda weird having them there. I tried not to act fake or nervous but having someone film and record everything you do is hard to adjust too. Overall I'm glad I did it though. A bunch of the guys absolutely won't let them ride with them. I figure in 15 years when I'm sitting on the couch with my kid and my show comes on they can see their dad when he was "young."

I finally watched it...they have it on the FOX website. They did a good job editing it. They missed a lot but when you only have 7 minutes to show the clip they did well.

Here is my sweet national TV debut if anyone cares. It's like American Idol but I don't have to embarrass myself. There are a few commercials you have to see first or you might have to d/l the player (takes about 5 seconds).

FOX One is the new streaming destination for the full FOX catalog — TV shows, movies, news, sports, and exclusive documentaries.
