I managed to lose 17lbs in a month by simply cutting back on how much I ate (not particularly what I ate) and drinking nothing but water.

You could probably lose about 5-6lbs in a week just drinking water honestly.

However, it depends on how overweight you are to start off with...
NCAA Vets League: Arkansas Razorbacks (9-2, 6-1)
MLB OS League: Seattle Mariners (9-2)

          True.

But I was sitting at 182lbs and dropped to 165lbs in that month. So it wasn't like I was huge.

When I wrestled I could lose 5 pounds in a couple hours doing various things. There are a lot of crazy things that wrestlers do to lose weight. My brother ran around with plastic bags strapped to his body, some people took laxatives, wrestling under a heater with sweats on, not eating for the day etc.

              I don't think I've been either 124 OR 174 since I'm in diapers!

You're not going to like it, but I gotta tell you, once my body got used to it....I didn't feel like eating more anyway.
I did minimal exercise by the way. I was basically doing some work on my house at the time that was a pretty good workout in itself(a HUGE amount of stone work on and around the house)

              1 cup of OJ(small)
1 cup of coffee(the hardest for me...I always have 2 or three) you can have milk/H%H/cream and sugar(better if you don't have the sugar...but this is okay)
2 pieces bacon and 1 egg

1 piece of grilled chicken or
              1 can tuna

chicken/fish/pork/beef(NO SAUCES) grilled or baked...1 portion
              1 cup vegetables(steamed)

after dinner you can have one SUGAR FREE ice pop or one orange/apple

It's not much to eat...but your body starts to really react to not having much and it works on itself.

Went on the South Beach diet and lost 10 pounds in a month. Got up to 190 and wanted to get back to 175. Nearly there but be warned, this diet can be pretty rough depending on how you have been eating. NO CARBS and NO SURGAR. I liked to drink pop and that was tough quitting but I've stuck to that part. Lean meats are OK, no hamburger below 90% lean. Lot of salads and turkey. I'm hypoglycemic and got the shakes quite a bit. Not still strictly on it now that warm weather is here and I can be outside and active more. I was 178 this morning.

That doesn't sound so bad. How long did it take you?

Im basically trying to compound a combination of the things you guys listed so i can mix it up a bit once in awhile, but im hoping my stomach shrinks becasue eating alot isnt my forte' anyhow, or in my case not accessible to the right foods at the right time.

opd, good for and congrats my man on the success.

Keep the grand ideas coming fellas.

Only took me the two months. Granted....my "best weight" is 240-245, so when I was 274....the early weight came of quickly. From 240 down to 224 was tough. On the last day I shed the last 6 pounds by doing basically what jmood stated....put the heavy sweats on and ran for hours to get that off...so I went from 274 to 230 by basically just eating as stated.

Lunch - a garden salad and water and an apple

Any ideas for snacks... and how do you guys think that would work?
If you want to lose 10lbs just to look like you lost ten lbs and not necessarily to start a new diet/exercise/better way of life. I would suggest

1 cup loosely packed lettuce for breakfast, lunch, dinner with water
3 pork rinds for snack between breakfast/lunch and lunch/dinner
                      lift weights and walk everywhere

its brutal and you will probably gag when you eat lettuce by day 6 or 7 but you will lose weight as well as muscle tone (price to pay)

Im not a doctor or a fitness person but I have done that and lost 50lbs. So its advice from experiance.

LOL you want to send me into shock?

Im looking to lose more than 10 but i'd be estatic to lose 10 lbs in a months time

I basically want to drop a good 30lbs and build my heart rate and metabolism, tone up afterwards with light weights, but for now no weights because with my body type i dont really need it. Pretty much maintain that as my lifestyle, and im sending the entire house wife and kids on the same path.

I had a buddy who went straight vegan, did the lemonade cleanse but he has it like, he had a personal chef making his meals.

He dropped about 40lbs but it took him somewhere between 3-6 months.

I can't do the no meat thing, and find all organic foods like he did because it takes alot of money time and preperation.

Dre, I've lost about 5 pounds since last Friday on Lipo 6. I've been doing cardio and lifting each day and consuming between 1,000 and 1,500 calories. I'm taking in about a gram of protein per pound to try and limit loss of muscle.

But I have to say that I usually feel like crap for a couple of hours after taking Lipo 6.

Yes it is because I did it

I actually lost 50 pounds in 14 weeks. LOTS of cardio and a radical change of diet. I ate alot of fruits and vegetables but I also ate chicken, fish and beef occasionally. I also ate wheat pasta and other natural type products. 100% cut out all pop!! I only drink water and maybe an occasional glass of milk with dinner. I also stopped drinking alchohol. I tried (and still try) to eat atleast 4 to 5 times a day with three good meals and a couple healthy snacks in the mix to keep the metabolism stoked

I feel better now than I have in the previous 10 years!!!
