I work for RU. I'm the Summer Lab Proctor Manager.
Sadly, I don't get paid more as a manager.Rose City 'Til I Die

What will you do there?
I think I'll hit up the country clubs tomorrow.
One of my friends caddies, he makes a ridiculous amount of money, like he said it averaged out to $32 an hour. He also lives in basically the richest part of Connecticut though so the tips are great.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: Finding a summer job is tough!
Trust me, Ive called them back the next day, Ive called them back multiple times and its as if they decided to ignore me. Ive had interviews where the guy told me he would do everything in his power to get me my own store to manage, and if that didnt work he could atleast get me an assistant manager position so I could work my way up the ladder, and then I never heard from him, he was never in when I would call, wouldnt return my calls and when I went in the store he vanished to the stock room and never came out while I was there, really pathetic if you ask me.Comment

Every ice cream parlor I have ever been to has fine women working in it. Hopefully yours is the same!YNWAComment

Re: Finding a summer job is tough!
Been working at FedEx for about a year and a half.
We usually put up a "hiring freeze" during this part of the year, though... shipping really goes down in the summer, thus spending extra money on more (albeit sometimes necessary) employees doesn't happen.Comment
