 Re: Being in love

lol that was witty it made me laugh.

i could make people sick in this thread of things i've done to keep my girl around...but also make the others who would yell slanderous objects feel dirty for the things i've done to try and get rid of her.

but i'll sum it up for you slick...i told my girl "Nobody gives a damn about us except us. If you decide to make that us into just me then were through. If I do that to you I wouldn't expect any less." She seemed to find that understanding years later when she found out nobody gives a damn about us except us.Comment

 Re: Being in love

I'd say stop dating girls u knew before. I met my wife on a dating web site...Turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to meWell, I'm not sure. I knew all of them before and were friends and I thought they were interested in me. But it turns out they were only after sex....and yet I still didn't get any!

I think it's a lot of bad luck, I've never really been the type to pursue anyway....but I've kinda got my eye on one at the moment, if I could only think of what to say to her!! ha My Specs: My Specs:

Yeah, that's the plan from here on. Gotta wait for the weekend though, hopefully this girl is around again

I've done the online stuff, met some really cool people but none I would really consider having "potential"Comment

 Re: Being in love

Well, I met A LOT...maybe around 25-30 (too much LOL), but I never had another way for meeting girls. My friends care only about themselves, I don't go to parties and I'm not the guy to just start talking to girls on the street. So...all I left was the internet. But hey, it was worth it My Specs: My Specs:

 Re: Being in love

I'm 21 years of age. And falling in love is the last thing on my mind. I'm trying to bang random women in random places. I haven't even went international yet... I gotta go to Brazil and bang some of those women, Gotta get some Canadian women, I'm gonna go somewhere in Asia and get some of them. Is anybody else on here onto the same game as me?"Solutions rarely come from the same minds as people who cause the problems"Comment

 Re: Being in love

 I don't think that's what he meant.

It had nothing to do with the fact that you HAVE a wife, but how you met your wife. It's just unconventional, that's all. Nothing wrong with it, IMO. But I can understand how someone would have the reaction that DC had.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? Re: Being in love

LOL Thats not what I was getting at man.

The fact that online dating is still kinda taboo (to SPEAK on even though it is done) (ps Google Freaks on mySpace), but I don't think I would be comfortable with telling people that I met anyone on the "innanet."Concrete evidence/videos pleaseComment

 Re: Being in love

Well, I'm not sure how it's in the US, but here most people have personal cards in more than one dating website. I remember 2 years ago, at work, we logged on to the biggest dating site here and read eachother's cards and laughed...
Even HOT guys/girls here use these sites. It used to be weird about 5-6 years ago, but today it's very common. My Specs:

 Re: Being in love

Myspace is a completely different animal than online dating. I would never meet and date anyone off of Myspace, hell f'n no. That being said, I think legit dating sites (Match, eHarmony) aren't "taboo", at least depending on your age. Sure, for a 22 year old in college, why do you need that type of thing? For a 30 year old adult who has grown up and moved past the bar scene? It's a valuable tool.

Also this brings up a separate issue. Taboo may not even be an issue, it could more be that someone isn't comfortable enough in themselves to admit things like this to people. Why should you give a crap what someone else thinks? Why do you empower others that much? If you're happy, isn't that what counts?

While I joke around with friends and make fun of them for stupid things, I don't think I'd want to be friends with people who constantly made fun of someone cause they used online dating. Hang out with new people...Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
