I should clarify that I meant saggy pants. I don't care much for baggy pants either, but I definitely don't want to see people's underwear!

Answer what? There's a rhetorical yes or no question not even directed to you and then a statement.

This is to get the type of people who are wearing baggy pants to leave the areas that they are hanging out if they don't want to pull up their pants. These people though not all of them, are committing crimes. If you make it a problem for them to gather and hang out, they will leave and most of the crime will leave with it. Basically it is another way to keep young people from gathering in large numbers in one area.
My friend wore baggy pants a few years ago.

He's now in Dentistry at the Universite De Montreal.

I can't tell you how badly I hate that ****. They look awful. Jeans should fit, not have loads of extra fabric coming off...

        Having said that,

equating baggy pants to crime is ridiculous beyond so many levels.

You ever come to think that maybe that's how they feel comfortable. I'm sorry but I don't want to wear skin tight jeans. If I get them baggy, that's my business, not the city councils.

Where do you see me disagreeing with that point.

                I HATE baggy jeans.

                But this law is stupid.

And the dude's post about how people who wear baggy jeans probably commit crimes is very ignorant.

Lmao. I remember another time where a certain group of people were banned from gathering. Funny how history repeats itself.

You do. You responded to my post. Don't put words in my mouth and preach too me. I didn't say $hit about a ban or fines. It's my f*cking business to say it looks stupid. It's my opinion. Get over yourself and pull up your pants.

Yeah it does look stupid and I've never gotten why people would put a belt on but let their pants sag so much. It's not stupid enough to make a law against it though.

Baggy and sagging isn't the same thing and you know it. You want to show your boxers to the world? So be it. But don't try to claim that having a belt around your nutsack and under your a$$ is comfortable. It's a "look at me" thing pure and simple.

No doubt. I never said I agreed with the law at all. We as a country have bigger fish to fry. Hell if there was a law for stupidity we would all have a record.

You may think what I said is stupid, but this is the intent of the law. The law makers want to keep certain people/the perception of certain people off the streets. Whether these people are committing crimes or not, they present a certain stereotype that the communities don't want around. They either change their appearance or they go somewhere else.
