You'd be surprised how many different kinds of jobs guys had before coming on....and how quickly you just adapt.
Besides...we need a couple of N.D. fans on the job!
Oh and chicks and kids love you!....no matter how fat and hairy you get

Those are some VERY convincing items. So I can be a fat, hairy ND fan....and the chicks still love me??

    Thanks Tater,

Yeah, I am pretty sure my two VP's and CEO are going to be fine. Its the other guys that are going to get crushed ( funny how that seems to work that way most of the time ) I need to get me one of those fancy ceo jobs, where you can pillage and fleece the company, and people call it good business.

That's (unfortunately) how it works. The CEO's and higher ups always have a CYA in place. And they spout off about employee welfare and let's do whats good for the company and caring about the staff, but what they mean is they want to do all those things as long as its still profitable and puts them in a good spot. The minute the hard times hit, they go into self-preservation mode.
Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

You too can be a 5* recruit at FSU.......

Just make sure that if you decide to change jobs, start looking now.
It's not easy out there once you are without a job. In about a month's time since I was laid off from my "former job", I've sent out a ton of resumes, made calls, went to career fairs, open houses, et al..
Nothing. I'm starting to go crazy!

        Good luck!

Yeah, I guess thats typical human reaction, maybe if I was the CEO, I would do the same...who knows

I understand Steve, I feel your pain. I had to go through a a couple of jobs just to find this one, and it was an experience that I didn't want to repeat this quickly.

          Good luck!
I understand Steve, I feel your pain. Its always nice to have a little time off, but after a while, the madness set's in. I had to go to go through a lot of interviews and a couple of jobs, just to secure this one. National City is such a good company, that I felt I could be with them for long time. I guess I'll see how the next 3 or 4 weeks go....then start sending them out. Thank God for the 3 or 4 month Severance package.
