It snows a ton, rains for a couple weeks, then this happens.

It's a little hot in Knoxville. 91 degrees, which is 10 degrees above the average for here. Not complaining though, heat index of 105 degrees in Tuscaloosa at the moment.

Tornado watches throughout Southern New England and almost all of Mass until 8 PM. Apparently there was a tornado on the ground in western Mass a short time ago. Severe weather rolling right through along a cold front this afternoon/tonight.

Hot (to be expected), muggy (ditto), but with no significant rain since January (most unusual).

While the rest of the country has been getting slammed with floods, tornadoes, etc., SE Texas is experiencing a drought without precedent in recorded history: 4 consecutive months with less than an inch of rain. By way of comparison the normal rainfall totals for Feb-May in Houston are 3.01", 3.19", 3.46" and 5.11".

Maybe there is something to that global warming thing after all...

92 degrees........Seen a tornado funnel come half way down over my house then go back up.......Then an hour later seen that same storm front produced a tornado that touched down right over the border in Mass.......

I been rainned on, hailed on and sucked on by weather today. What a way to start June.
