Very bad wind storm. Knocked the power out for 7 hours. Trees and power lines are down all over the place.

Those winds were nasty over the weekend here. 50mph gusts of winds for 2 days. I've seen more limbs down from this storm vs the whole winter(wait, is it still winter?)

We have a few inches of snow and one inch of ice and water underneath. I tried to get all the snow off the top of the van, but it I couldn't get it all off. I took the first right and turn and kablam, made a loud thud on the windshield and scared the crap out of me. I had to pull over and fix everything.

Hopefully your house and property didn't sustain significant damage.

Thanks CB. Everything is good. A 3.9 is just a small roll and jolt. My wife was in the shower when it happened and didn't even feel it.

It doesn't seem like we are getting a spring this year in Maine. Had snow on the 14th and it's been cooler than usual. Instead of April 17th it feels like February 76th.

Here in Middle Tennessee yesterday we had snow and cold weather. Today it’s supposed to be in the 70s. Mother Nature make up your Darn mind

Weather really does suck this weekend. Everything is covered in a few inches of ice. Not snow, ice! Ice that's so fine, it looks like salt.

It's been coming down basically nonstop for over a day now.

Crazier part, on Thursday evening it was warm enough that you needed a light jacket at most. Today you need shovel and snowbrush, if you're going outside, which most people are recommending not to.

Lol to think, about 2 weeks after this was posted, the weather will feel like mid to late June.

Going from January to June in half a month span.

It snowed yesterday, some parts got 5 inches. Today was 67.

Nice warm week. Felt like June.


Now today is so windy! Damaging wind level of windy. Gusts around 110kph(around 70mph)! On one house, I even saw the windy raise some shingles. Ontop of that, it's supposed to be severe thunderstorms later on.

Had 3 tornado cells sweep through the area last night one after each other. A lot of wind damage everywhere. At least the power stayed on here on my side of town this time.
