It isn’t actually warm year round in Florida. The temperature might say it is, but live here for a couple years year round and 60 degrees will feel like it’s 40 and 45 degrees will feel like it’s 20. I go through it every winter and it’s always weird to me. Every time we get a cold front that drops the temps I’m bundled up in pants and a sweatshirt cold as hell while I see all these snowbirds from up north in shorts and a T-shirt lol. Last weekend I was literally shivering when I walked outside at night and it was only 47...

I’m from up north too, grew up in Indy, so I know cold. But your body just adjusts to the heat and humidity or something down here then when you get that sudden drop in temperature it feels way colder than it is.

Of course that only happens when we get cold fronts that only last 3-5 days. So it’s almost warm year round lol. Though this year we’ve already had like 3 fronts come through, been chillier than usual.

Lots of water in the air and breeze coming off the water in most places. So while it's not as cold, it does feel colder.

Snowing a fair amount. Final day before holidays, people barely want to go anywhere as it is. This weather doesn't help.

Christmas eve is supposed to have weather you'd only see on Christmas eve in movies, specifically Rudolph. Can't remember last time this happened.

5 inches of snow so far today. Nor'easter coming up here Sunday and suppose to last until Tuesday dumping even more snow. Just 50 miles north of me they got a foot of snow today. Wind gusts are pretty strong too.

Tonight's weather is basically gonna be reminiscent of the storm in Rudolph. That really will be the only way people can safely get around tonight.

First time I can remember seeing a future weather forecast saying the chance of snow is 100%. Even if they're certain, they'd say 80-90 at most, but 100%?

Calm before the storm. 29 degrees. Snow storm going to hit after midnight and snow majority of Christmas non stop with wind gusts up to 55 mph all Christmas Day. Over all this week suppose to be freezing with the highs in the single digits and the lows in the negative teens.

We've been spared the snow so far, mostly, but yeah. Consistently low temps.

I'm sure it's worse for those of you in the Midwest, but the high temp here in CT was 25 today, and that's the warmest it's gonna be for two weeks. Gonna get below zero for a couple nights (not tonight), which happens here sometimes, but is still relatively uncommon.

It was 8 degrees this morning.

Christmas is over. Time for the temps to return to the 80's and 90's with bright sunshine.

I experienced that once while visiting in Plattsburgh NY, it actually hurt to breath.

It'll crack 0 zero for a few hours over the next 6 days, so we got that going for us.
