I was watching the Pistons/Heat broadcast tonight and the Miami announcers were pointing out how it's sweater weather because it was in the 40s in Miami. I'm like **** you lol

Supposed to be messy Sunday night into Monday morning. If roads get too dicey, I'll be staying put at home that day instead of working.

Blizzard north of Boston. School cancelled today and probably tomorrow (I teach). 11:50am, now, MILLER TIME in 10 minutes. Then back breaking shovel time in a few hours.

Sure hoping tomorrow is off or it will be game day in the computer lab as this teacher may be a bit sluggish from all that 'shoveling'.

We don't have it here, but I'm the same way.

I live in a small town in Southern Indiana and commute to Louisville each day for work. Takes about 35-45 minutes depending on traffic. A few back roads to take to get a main road that has twist and a few hills before I get to the interstates.

So my work knows that if roads are bad, don't bother looking for me in the office.

Blizzard going on......schools stayed open though since it didn't start until the afternoon. Bright side is this is the warmest it been outside in 3 weeks, in the upper teens right now.

We've had sub zero temps for the past week. Got a blizzard going on today, supposed to get 10 to 15 inches of snow. Hey, that's Maine.

Just came in from the first shovel of the day. 3 Hours! Hit my house, in-laws and in-law's office. All walking distance luckily. We had about 14 inches all around giver or take. The wind is whipping. Shovel for 40 minutes, walk back and it already has 2 or 3 inches on it.

So I adopted the beer per inch rule....... I really like that rule! Rumor is school is out tomorrow so that is good. I can clean up all properties and have a few beers.

Lots of flooding and evacuations in Boston and near the Cape the news says. Thoughts and prayers with them right now.

Up to 15" of snow. Drifts from this storm are a whole other story.

I shoveled for 3 hours.....dead tired. Still snowing. According to the news suppose to keep snowing on up until morning. Saw these college kids damn near kill themselves in their suburau. They were tailgating each other and hit the corner way too fast and slid for several feet. Even saw a plow truck slide in the snow.

Man I despise people who don't clean the snow off the back of their cars. It is like come on now, all your taillights and license plate is covered in thick snow. Accident waiting to happen. That is just as bad as people who don't turn on their headlights during a blizzard. Snow suppose to be treated the same way as rain, when it is snowing out, turn on your damn headlights.

It's currently 19 degrees in Maryland. Is it spring yet?
