Heavy rain and storms again today and then again overnight. I expect to have to cut my grass sometime next week.

that's not always a bad thing, cut that grass while in your own zone and escape for a bit

It was absolutely beautiful here in Denver today. I am not usually a "wow, nature!" guy but I walked in my backyard at one point and looked towards the mountains and the clear blue sky (I know, corny as hell, but bear with me) and thought "damn that is pretty.

I would have liked to go on a hike in better circumstances.

Here in the south (aka north of the US, but southern Canada), we are supposed to get thunderstorms and "damaging winds".

I posted in here a few times when thunderstorms were supposed to happen. Dont think they ever did. At most you might see some lightning and hear rumblings from a distance for a few minutes tops, but I honestly can't remember the last severe thunderstorm.


Cant just be me? I really feel like there used to be more severe thunderstorms around here when I was a kid. I have memories of being at school with thunder and lightning outside and there were some kids in my class scared of it (granted they were probably like 8 or something)

I hate saying things have been settled down weather wise, we're in a similar area and the snow this winter wasn't bad, and the thunderstorms/tornadoes last summer weren't bad.

I'm not even sure if I want to click send on this because I'm a worrier and somehow the universe will hear me and be like "oh yeah?" and next thing you know we get the most active tornadic season ever, and then 500 feet of snow.
