Re: So what's the weather like where you live?

Feels more like fall around here, but it will be short lived. Back into the mid and upper 90's this weekend and starting next week.

I think we're going to just go straight from summer to winter

      In the low 90s

      On October 2nd

      How wonderful.

It’ll start cooling off tomorrow though. Summer’s last gasp.

Lots of rain in Maine as well. It's killing me, I'm trying to finish up my exterior painting work , but we get 3 days of rain and one day of sun , then rain again. Can't get anything done. Looks like next week we've got 4 dry days in a row , that should do it I hope.

We moved to Saraland/Mobile from Tuscaloosa nearly three months ago. I've been used to regular severe weather and tornados in that area all my life, and expected the same moving down here, but it's been overwhelmingly dry and rainless. We're having our first good thunderstorm in months, tonight. It's wonderful.

The temps over the next several days are showing high of 84F and a low of 50F. I'll take it over 100F days, no doubt. Come on, winter weather.

Its snowing! Feels like this is one of earlier snowfalls we've had. Most leaves haven't even fallen off trees yet or even changed colours. Makes for a weird visual. Snow covering green trees and hedges.

just north of me got 5" of snow, breaking a record for that day, the regular high temp is 51, and we're getting 20s for the foreseeable future, yeesh

*correction, it'll be 30s for a day or two and then drop to the 20s for historic lows

                    Getting some flurries today.

Though it might be kinda unusual, but last year on Nov 16 or so we had a few inches come down kinda unexpectedly. Dipped work at lunch and my 45 min commute became a 2 hour nightmare. People getting stuck on hills and stuff. I made some pretty wild maneuvers to handle that one.

Tomorrow is supposed to be the biggest November 11th snowfall in ages. Last time there was even a noticable amount on that date was 1983. Tomorrow is supposed to at least triple that number.

The 'post christmas weather', above freezing. Not hovering above, but weather you'd expect here in March.

Sadly I know how this story plays out. Nice now, once January and February hits, it's cold and snowy.

yep lol, we hit 60+ here, it was great, but the longterm forecast suggests it'll get nasty in a few weeks

It was in the 60's here for Christmas and supposed to stay warm until cold front comes thru on Sunday that will bring heavy rain.

I enjoyed the warm weather on Christmas. If it's not going to snow then it might as well be warm.

                              Told you.

Right now its snowing. Meaning by time people wake up tomorrow for that 'first day back'(either for them or just most others), roads will be covered in snow, lots of traffic, delays everywhere. What a mess of a day this will be.

Its snowing more now than I think its snowed here all December combined! Can we fastforward to March?

It’s funny you say March because since Ive been living in England I think it’s snowed for more than a day at a time maybe two years out of four and both times it was in March. The whole concept of a white Christmas just doesn’t exist here. I’ve had coworkers be surprised when I say we used to have snow quite often around Christmas in Ohio and they respond that they’ve only seen snow around Christmas once in their lives.

Right now, as it has been since late October it’s just been cold and wet. Until then it was warm, like weirdly warm for this part of the world. Some days in October were above 20 degrees.
