I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Holy **** the visuals coming out this AM. That warehouse is no longer there, totally flattened.
I drove through an area on my work commute that got hit by a tornado this past summer and it was tough seeing the destruction every day. I believe it was only a EF1 or 2 and the place was practically a wasteland. So a 5 for that long? My god...NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Praying for everyone that was in that path. Unreal some of the images. Fortunately the severe stuff stayed north of us here in central Louisiana.
They are saying that tornado possibly traveled 250 miles.

Re: So what's the weather like where you live?
The images coming out of Mayfield are devastating. It just looks like a bomb was dropped on the town.
Doppler radar estimated winds were 283mph in Mayfield, the highest recorded estimate ever. Doppler radar was picking up debris 39,000 feet in the air. The potential of a strong EF-4/EF-5 on the ground for over 250 miles across Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, and Kentucky. It had been 8 years since this country has seen an EF-5 tornado, the longest such streak in recorded history.
It was a record breaking night/morning. Which is hardly ever a good thing when it comes to Mother Nature.

Man everybody involved involved in that last night. Right before Christmas. Just awful man. I lived in Kentucky. And my mom lives in Southern Indiana. Said she got some rough storms but nothing like that.
Mother nature is a cruel bitch sometimes. I've never heard of this happening in December. Spring and summer. Yea ok. But this is weird to me.
Smh. Glad our fellow osers are ok.

Horrible night in Western Kentucky. Not mentioned here was the damage in Bowling Green, which also took a hit. I know there was damage at the Corvette Assembly Plant.
Thankfully, the storms started weakening as they reached the I-75 corridor. It’s pouring the rain here in the eastern part of the state.
Edit: I say that and then the radar started pulsing back up and it looks like a wall of wind is heading this way.

I hate winter. 60+ inches of snow since Nov 1. It was 8 degrees the other day and it’s supposed to be colder than normal until sometime in January.

It’s totally ****ing nuts an airplane at cruising altitude (30-36 thousand feet) could’ve been hit by debris lofted that high. Nearly inconceivable.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills

Re: So what's the weather like where you live?
I was hoping we would get snow on christmas because in the 32 years I have been alive and living in the same area its never happened. Part of it is we really only used to get snow in jan-march but with weather changing we now some times get snow in November or December or even April or may. We end up getting snow the day after Christmas darn it lol. We also when we do get snow like half the time it doesn't even stick and like 49% of the time it will be like 1-4 inches. We end up getting like 14 inches this time like a once ever 20 years type of storm. Been below average temperatures just about all month. But we had a November that felt like April/may and a October that felt like December/Jan lol.Comment

Under the severe weather gun again to ring in the new year.
Chance of tornadoes Saturday. Chance of snow Sunday.
Winter time in Kentucky.
