I hated when that happened. I would wake up in a good mood thinking I would get to go out and play in the snow only to find out I had to go to school.

Snowing like a bastard here in Akron. We got about 4-5 inches since 4pm. They said 4-8 when its done, but I would guess we are gonna see a lot more than that.

It's coming down, hard. About 5 inches so far. Looking at about 8. Weird thing is the temp is right at freezing, so it's kinda melty snow. Real wet stuff. But the roads are a mess. Be careful, if you do come.

Now they're saying we're probably gonna have ~12" by morning. Biggest snowfall since we got about 14" in February 15-16 2003 though I missed that one (was in college in even snowier Meadville PA). Roads are an absolute mess, I was watching and listening to someone spinning their tires trying to get up the street in front of my apartment earlier tonight. City bus service has completely shut down because of the road conditions. Lots of street closures, accidents, and power outages being reported.

It's snowing like a bitch. The weathermen in Cleveland really botched this storm. Akron is under siege and back in my hometown, it's supposedly snowing like all kinds of hell, blizzard like according to my father. West was only supposed to get 3-6 and East was supposed to be 5-8.

This snow storm is rediculis, up to 30 inches expected...

Its horrible here. At least 8 inches as of now. There was a fatal accident in Streetsborro a couple hours ago. Dude slid into the path of a plow. I wouldn't go near the roads if you live in this area.

Actually it was 4 inches. But whatever. The ice was the killer for me. I've never driven in it before. But I managed well.

The weathermen really screwed this one up. They were calling for 4-8 inches, and I probably have between 18-20 in my yard, and they are calling for another 2-3 inches.

Thank goodness I still have power as of now.

I'm not sure how much we ended up with. I'm THINKING it's about 14 inches but it could be more.

My man Dick let me down.

I hate shoveling! We got about 8-9 and then it drifted in some areas. Man, I'm hurting right now. Just told the wife" you know that saying about what doesn't kill you makes you stronger? I must be pretty strong, cause that darn near killed me!" I need to learn to take a break when doing that. I get to sweating bad, and my body gets to aching. I hate not being young anymore....

This sure has turned into one monstrous storm (as if it wasn't already predicted to be one to begin with). They're now saying storm totals will be 18-24" for the Pittsburgh area. Haven't seen snow like this since the blizzard of 1993.
