Hey, do you guys tip based on the weather? I feel inclined to give a couple more bucks if it's freezing/snowstorming out there.

I've been ordering delivery a bit more often this year, and I've noticed the same person has been doing my order the last month. At this rate, I might have to get this guy a Christmas card or something.

yea thats isnt the point me payin for the pizza goes to them makin and me payin for the tip go in dudes pocket so like me paying for the pizza is paying for the cheese and stuff not me payin them..simple economics.

It is simple econonmics, unfortunately, you don't get it. But we'll just pretend that you hurt them financially by not tipping the driver.

nuttin...i dont tip them fools. its what they get for not hiring me and one time they messed up my pizza yea i ated it and they wouldnt give me my money back? ok yea me and pizza isnt on good terms i dont tip at all.

Is their an age limit to register for OS?. Because after reading this it seems like this guy is 5 or 6 years old tops.

hndavis is known to be a mainstay in the OS bottom five power rankings. Do to the large numbers of users who have him on ignore, I request that you stop quoting him and thus defeating the purpose of that function.

I typically tip pretty well. At home, my parents insists on tipping well to the delivery guy. If we order 20$ worth of food, we give him a $5 tip.

At school, I typically give them a nice tip. We'll order sandwiches or something, and I often take more out of my pocket than my roommates do in order to tip the guy well. If we get 3 sandwiches that totals like 21 bucks (pretty typical total), I'll give him a 4 or 5$ tip.


My uncle is a notoriously good tipper, and I learned this over the summer when I lived with him. He's pretty well-paid (State job with 6-figure salary), so he's got the money to give up. He took me to an Italian restaurant once and we got probably $40 of food between the two of us... he tipped the girl $40... yes, he tipped her 100%. I saw the bill (he paid with credit card), and my jaw just dropped. He explained to me that he always does this at places he frequents because he insists he gets better service and more/better food that way, and that the waiters and waitresses are often underpaid as it is.

His friends are the same way, I guess. My mom (his sister) told me a story she heard him once tell. He went with a bunch of friends to a bar/restaurant. Well, the server was a complete dick I guess. I don't know the specifics, but no one at the table was happy with the him/her (can't remember if it was a guy or girl). So my uncle's friend went up to the girl with a $100 bill and lit it on fire right in front of her, saying "This is was you would have gotten." A little extreme (and very stupid), I know.

I usually tip him 3-4 bucks, depending on how fast he can deliver them. Lately, I've just been calling in an order before I leave from work to go home, swinging by the pizza place and taking them home myself.
