Someone asked earlier what the drivers get out of the delivery fee. Ours is $2 I get $1.25. As far as tips go I am cool with whatever I get. Unless I get stiffed, which happens about once a shift.

Here's the thing though. If you are a good tipper we remember that. We all know who is and isn't. If you are, we will probably take your delivery first even though it is 3rd in line. We will bust our *** to get it to you quick. Also sometimes I make the pizzas or help make them when we are busy, and I will load up the pizzas for good tippers.

So just remember that guys.

I don't remember my parents ever tipping the delivery person so I haven't done it either since I've been in college. I've also been paying with a debit card since I don't carry much cash on me.

Regardless how much it is I tip 2 to 3 dollars. However I did tip 7 dollars for a 13 dollar order. I gave him a 20 instead of the 10 and 5. I told him to keep the change. By the time I knew what happen he took off. Lol. Never seen a pizza guy run to his car that fast.

If it's a hot chick delivering the pizzas, I usually just give her the sausage myself. That's her tip.

Cost of the food is rising so the prices have to go up.

When I started at Papa John's last December, I think of a box of cheese cost us $25. Recently, it's gone up to $40 a box.

Weird. I remember the cheese costing around $35 a box when I worked at the Papa some 7 odd years ago.
