        I couldn't give two craps about the McDonalds' or the Four Seasons guy. My argument was that neither of them use their own vehicles to serve you. The pizza guy does. That's why he deserves a good tip.

            Working in a resturant type atmosphere really gives you an understanding of how it works. I leave big time tips when I go out to eat or even take-out.

                What about the guy that doesn't use his own vehicle? There are plenty of pizza places around me that have their own "company" vehicle.

                                        Domino's used to do this but I haven't heard of it being done in quite a while. If you're not using your own vehicle, 2-3 bucks should suffice.

                                            Our local pizza places increased their delivery fees by $1 when the gas prices shot up and.....surprise.....they haven't come back down with the gas prices.

                                                    What's the bad weather tipping policy? It's snowing pretty bad here in the Cities (at least 2-4" by tonight, more in the morning) and I'm jonesin' for some chinese food, but there's no way I'm heading back out in the snow.

                                                        I always tip $5, I think it's fair for any weather. 5 bucks in my experience gets me my food fast. The drivers remember..

                                                            I was cheap today.

                                                            Usually I do $3 or so but I get confused when places charge delivery costs before the tip.

                                                            Like I ordered from Pizza Hut online and they charged $2.95 delivery charge. I kind of didn't want to tip at all at that point but ended up tipping around a $1.90.
