What were we going to do? A couple college students just sitting in their room, watching a movie?

They had no proof a crime had been committed, yet they still acted as if we were scumbag criminals. Then I was told I needed to show them respect, when there they were telling my friend to shut up (I lost it then and told him to shut the **** up...my first words), when all my friend said was "he's got a point." It was ridiculous.

There's no need to come in, and right off the bat, treat the suspects like dirt. Then they wonder why people have animosity towards cops.

At the same time though, if DE is telling the truth. The cops would be walking into a room with a couple dudes watching a movie, baked. Which might be the most nonthreatening thing ever.

Thanks to NHL 09, I actually find myself watching both the Lakers game and Kings/Ducks game. Hockey is actually pretty awesome to watch.

What you're saying is I should have zero rights as they are fearful for their lives. Yet, in this day and age, I am afraid for mine when I run into the cops. Yet, I must treat them with the utmost respect, while they continuously threaten me and shout.

How is that at all "just?"

nice man, good luck......im up for election for a spot on the alumni board for my high school. Its a group of 10 alumni who basically make sure the school is being run correctly from the viewpoint of a student....theres a regular board as well, but we can relate to the students a little better than they can.

another thought....that is the third time today that I have had the final post on a page of this thread.

I really wish I could get into hockey.

I've been to one game and it was a ton of fun. I've just never been able to invest a lot of time into the sport. It's a lot of fun in person, but on TV, I just struggle to watch without losing interest.
