I probably would have laughed harder than you did, so don't worry...you're not alone.

And to the above post...I'm only 20, so it's not the same, I'm sure, but I definitely care a lot more about sports now than I did five or six years ago. I, honestly, can't say if that would have changed had the Boston area teams not be successful lately.

Had to sell my 360 due to financial reasons. I am pretty bummed out about it. At least I still have my ps2 with Madden 09.

I don't know what it is, but I'm really enjoying things for the most part, and my teams aren't even that good. I'm pretty pumped for the NFL games this weekend even though the Chiefs aren't playing, I'm excited for baseball even though the Royals suck, I'm always excited for College basketball.

Just seems like I'm enjoying sports more these days.
I actually find that I care a little less than I used to about sports.

I used to have a type of OCD, I had to do almost everything, especially the smallest things, 3 times before I could go do something else or it would keep bugging me. Thankfully it has gone mostly away, not sure how, but it occasionally still happens to me.

          So you're a bandwagon fan?

Nah, I've been a fan of all the Boston teams my entire life, but I don't know if I was a fan when I was a kid because I wanted to like what my Dad liked, or if I actually liked the sports.

Now I like the teams because they're no longer the "hometown" teams or the "teams my Dad likes"...they're my teams.

Okay, so I was curious. Do you have to be 18 to be able to get a tatoo, or can you be under 18 and get one if you have a parent there?

I have been contemplating getting this small tatoo with big significance to me, it would just read "never again" or something to that extent, but has a meaning to me that I don't want to explain to anyone(including family, firends). I'm not sure if my parents would go for it because I wouldn't want to tell them why, but I sure would hope they do.

You can get one if you have a parent/guardian with you. Some artists would probably give you one regardless of whether a parent was there.

A lot of new names in this thread that weren't really in the old one.

Not that it is a problem, just an observation.
I don't like the Yankees, I like the Red Sox, I don't like the Lakers, I like the Celtics, I hate the Canadiens and I love the Bruins. Soccer is the best sport on Earth, but most Americans are too ignorant to realize it. I am American.

I find myself getting in heated arguments about all my sports teams. And if I'm drunk while arguing about them, I'm 99% positive that I will be getting in a fight over them lol.

but it's the EXACT same party as last night, basically. Same place, same people.

                            I think I'll pass.

Before the games tonight, my brother and I went to the local high school and kicked field goals and punts. I went 11 for 13 with one of the misses being from 52. I went 4-5 from 45+ yards. Pretty happy with that.
