Is there any way you can like put a clock/mobile radio between the speakers and say that it's the clock radio hooked up to those speakers? I doubt it works but it's something.

I can't see how it's an intrusion if no one can hear it and you turn it off when you have clients around.

BTW that's pretty ghey they made you turn off your speakers. It is ridiculous iPod headphones means anything associated with an iPod.

Don't do it man. Learn everything you can to get a nice job when you graduate. Intern during the summer and set up your future. You can have plenty of fun in college while doing well.

Im absolutely furious. I dont swear much, but im pretty damn livid right now. My speakers dont bother anyone. But the guy with the office next to me (who is a decent guy) asked if he could continue to listen to yahoo radio online while he works. He was told yes, that was fine. So wtf, why cant i use my "radio" which happens to be my cellphone and is made by Apple?

I dont think its because its an ipod, i think its because its an extra "device" whereas anything on the computer is already here. Im just gunna hide my speakers/dock behind some of my files and continue to have it here for awhile.

There are so many worse things, and most peoples places of work suck as it is, why take away some of the things that make it tolerable? How is me listening to very quiet music worse than the social butterflies who wander around from person to person talking and not doing work? Why not tie them to their ****ing chairs and let me listen to music. It makes the day so much better.

Im in Compliance, so my "clients" are our branches of our brokerage firm. I have an office, im tucked in the corner, no one can hear my music (ive asked to make sure i wasnt being obnoxious). Anytime i get a call i pause it.

Now i know they cant make different rules for different people, but dont punish me because some jack *** wandered aroudn with headphones on.

Of the seven class Ive taken (second semester freshman), only one or maybe two I think have actually counted towards my major. I have american literature next, sounds boring as heck

Yup and certain majors get stiffed with what electives will/wont count. After general education it gets a little better since you get to take classes aimed towards your career

It wouldnt be that bad if my boss would grow a pair. Im fairly high up (so he is obviously higher). The guy who sent the email NEVER comes to my office or area. He couldve just said "Hey, be smart, keep it turned down low, no headphones and if he sees it, we never had this conversation" but he's such a little bitch. He toes the company line and then goes further just to be an extra up tight *** wad
