Just had this convo through text message with my ex...

Her: Is it going to be raining in the morning?
Me: Yeah, 100% chance of rain all day tomorrow
Her: If its raining like this in the morning, will you ride with me to the airport?
Me: Yeah, sure.


One little detail to add...she's carrying her dad to the airport. So, an hour long car ride with my ex and her dad whom I've never met to the airport plus an hour ride back just me and her...something like this is how we got back together in the first place.


And one more little detail, I asked her yesterday about the idea of us being good friends as opposed to not even talking anymore since we aren't ''together''. She said she'd have to think about it since we couldn't do that the first time and ended up getting back together.


I hope to go tomorrow though, I've got a $50 Best Buy gift card and the closest one to me isn't far from the airport.

Why would I bail out? He'll be impressed and demand I marry his daughter on the spot. In fact, we'll probably go to the nearest liquor store and he'll purchase of 1/5 of Johnnie Walker Blue Label for me.

Rarely are fathers impressed by their daughter's long haired lover's sexual conquests.
