Big dogs scare the crap out of me so, no.

I remember one time when I was younger I was riding my bike and 3 german shepherds ran loose on the street barking and chasing me. Well I peddled on my bike as fast as I can, jumped off it and ran like the Flash to my house until they left. I never ran that fast in my life before or since.

Unfortunately the dogs ran up to my door and were banging and barking at it for a good 20 minutes until they decided to leave.

I'm a dog lover and also one of those kind of men who always prepare mentally for life and death scenarios.

You may get hurt but you can fight off a dog, bop it's nose (sensitive) grab, twist, snap one of it's legs, drop all of your body weight on it, there are many ways to disable a dog quickly if you don't panic. As long as it hasn't locked on to your neck you should win rather quickly.

Lol, I do the same thing. I always imagine a couple of deep eye gouges should do the trick. That or a nice three finger windpipe crush.

I was attack by a pitt before as soon as it came at me I kick it right in the head. It was perfect contact. I kick that dog a couple of feet in the air and damn near killed it. It was pretty much game, set and match. But I got lucky. I also, think if you punch it right in the face and make good contact you would probably do some damage.

I could fight a four year old if she had the means to kill me or somebody I loved. Yes..."she". I figure, you are already fighting a four year old, the sex shouldn't matter at that point...

So yeah, I love dogs more than anything aside from my wife, but if I had to, I would.

Theoretically, I think more often than not, the dog is going to get the better of the human.

Think about it......all you have is blunt force. You have to make a great connection for you to seriously hurt the dog. The dog has a huge advantage and weapon in it's teeth. Against a really huge dog, a person probaly couldn't withstand a fierce dog bite enough to make an impact. This of course varies on the person. Against somebody with alot of force or somebody who has a high threshold for pain, they might stand a good chance. But for a normal guy....I can't see it.

Now, if you could pick up something to strike the dog with, that would be a great equalizer.

I think I could kick it depending on the dog. If it was a cop dog, a kick to the jar is in order. If a random dog, same thing, kick to the jar. A dog I know, I'm going to try and calm it down or run.

same here. I love dogs but i would beat a dogs *** if it tried to mess with me 1 on 1.

2 on 1 or 3 on 1 on the other hand the dogs would have me for breakfast....

I've thought about this before. I think the key is getting on the dog's back. If its a smaller dog, no real problem, but bigger dogs would be harder. Once you're on top of them, you have access to their neck, ears, and eyes. You have to stay on your feet, if the dog gets you on the ground, its over.

More than 1 and you better run or kill the first attacker with one shot.

That is so funny. When I wrote that I thought about my friend's dog was just like that. He was so mean to that dog as a kid. But I am sorry I can kick any dogs ***! Now it might be becasue I am undefeated in dog fights. Granted I only had one, but I think they heard about me from their doggie friends.
