I'm confused how 9/11 has to do with how someone is going to spend their tax return.

I'm just going to take the time now to tell everyone we need to keep this thread somewhat respectable and not go into political discussions.

Paying down are awfully high credit cards...courtesy of our our home "money pit" the last six months (see my blog for more details).

I wish we didn't HAVE the debt there, especially with the dosh my wife brings in, but Jesus ****ing Christ we had a lot of necessary, and at times emergency, expenditures the last half year.

I should add "if" we get a significant return. Even with two sets of mortgage interest, charitable contributions, itemized deductions, and investments...we might still have earned enough to put us in the "pay" category.

I'll put a good chunk into my retirement plan, put some extra down on the bills to make sure i have no debt, and use a little to get some stuff that my wife or i want. Clothes for her, maybe a few movies for me.

If we get a good chunk back, then its gonna go into the house, new countertops, increase the re-sale of the house.

We make to much money we owe each year...joking on the money part....I dont usually get one.... because I have it were i get the most of my money now,really dont trust the government and get little taxes taken out ,which is fine by me, been doing this for 25 years now...

We usually have to pay. But hopefully this coming year with a child we'll get some next year, which will go into savings.
