I look up at a 60-85 degree angle using no peripheral vision anytime I use a urinal. I don't want a glimpse of anyone else and if they look at mine I'd never know.

Honest opinion of what should of been done.

All this "don't talk in the bathroom" and "don't look at anyone in the bathroom" (I'm talking above the waste, of course) and "don't use two adjacent urinals in the bathroom" is crazy talk. It's created by men who are insecure with their sexuality and don't want to seem homosexual or don't want men to KNOW they're homosexual.

It's a bathroom. Give me a break. There's no reason not to talk in the bathroom. There's no reason to torture yourself with a pending urine evacuation just because there isn't a urinal available that doesn't have someone standing at one adjacent to it. There's no reason to walk in staring at the ceiling or at the ground to avoid eye contact. Sheesh.

That being said...

It's totally not cool to look at someone's jimmy. That's kind of weird. I mean, any guy should know what one looks like, so there's really no reason to look.

That is absolutely ridiculous. Some people just believe in boundaries. There's plenty of time to talk in between bathroom breaks. Pooping and peeing is the very definition of "busy". It's got nothing to do with sexuality. It has to do with privacy and dignity. Just because you don't have the same boundaries don't try to steer this into another topic.

Perhaps that explains the "no talking" clause, but it doesn't explain the other things. I can't look at someone (above the waste, of course)? I can't pee next to someone else if there's no other room?
