Oh my. I need to try this. I don't even know if I like porters or not.

Never had that but don't judge your feelings of porters on it. You may like it, may hate it, but I promise it doesn't taste like most porters. Same with Sweet Baby Jesus... a lot of people love it. I hate it and I love porters and stouts.

I had a couple Fat Tires last night. Really good and gives you a quick buzz. I don't usually feel anything until after 3 or so but halfway into the second one I decided it's time to slow down a little. It really snuck up on me. Very good taste, I recommend it.

Fat Tire is really good. Haven't tried the others that you have.

Last time at the grocery store, I picked up these two in sixpacks.

Ninkasi is in Eugene, OR, and this is one of the few beers they make that I actually like (their Oktoberfest and Wunderbier are fantastic as well).

Worthy is in Bend, OR. When me and the wife went to Bend before our wedding, we really dug Worthy a lot. Every beer they had were terrific. This one is very nice.

My favorite mom and pop store is going out of business on Friday. It was nice having a full selection of anything I could want about a mile away. If there is any consolation, the first Dunkin' Donuts in town is going up in its place. The other bright spot is that everything in the store is 20% off. I will really miss talking to the owner and having him show me the new things that had come in. He'd even let people sample stuff on Fridays and Saturdays. RIP Warehouse Liquor!

Tried a barleywine for the first time a couple of weeks ago and bought a bottle of it. Deep Ellum Brewery Numb Comfort. First one I've had and I enjoyed it a lot.

Sorry no cool in glass pic.

All you guys enjoy fat tire now. It was my go to for a while when it first hit the area but it fell out of favor quickly for some reason. Can't even explain it, but it quickly became no different than something like an Amstel Light.

Even if you get to that point, don't let it sour you on the brand. I'm still a big fan of their Ranger IPA. And there are a couple other good ones I tried in a sampler a few months ago.

On a separate note, I tried the new Guinness Blonde... it reminds me of fat tire. Solid but, at this point, wouldn't be mad if I never had it again.
