13, OkCupid is free and I don't know exactly what the benefits of the monthly subscription are. The free service is more than enough for me. Match.com and eHarmony are the ones that gets your money.

Hmm did not know that. In that case, I might just do it today. The free ones always worried me but...

I started one with OKCupid. The quality actually seems pretty good. I think whats important here is you can't use this as the only way to meet chicks. If you use it as a secondary method and you are pretty laid back about it I think you'll be golden.

Good to hear. It's definitely not going to be my only method, or at least I hope not, but with work and life obligations, i find it hard to get out and the places around here where women go, the words "classy" or "wife material" wouldn't be used as an adjective.

Luckily, I'm on the downhill half of my 20s (don't say that often), so the older women that aren't just looking for a good time, might actually have some interest.

Met the one girl I had consistently been talking to on OKC last night at a local show. We both went with our own group of friends and we ended up meeting up and chatting for the last half hour or so. Turns out she remembered meeting my roommate at a party a while back so the ice was easily broken. She is just as cute, if not cuter than her pictures suggested (also not a Secret Internet Fatty. Great success!) and we are hanging out either this Saturday or Sunday.

Needless to say I'm pretty stoked.

If you're profile pic on OKC is you standing next to a silver pole, you're probably on the wrong website.

Created a profile but haven't answered any questions or uploaded anything yet. Just browsing the talent, so far...meh. Have seen about 3-4 that I'd be attracted to physically and 2 after reading their profiles seem like huge slores.

If 3 out of the 6 things you could never do without are beer, men, and phone, I'll pass.

That's just the tip of the iceberg, my friend. Once you are on there long enough and have enough people rate you highly, you gain access to what OKC deems, basically, the "most attractive" people on the site.

I met my girlfriend about 4 years ago on OKC, but we didn't start actually dating until a little over a year ago. Same thing won't work for everyone, but I had better luck with online dating than people trying to hook me up or me trying to ask out a woman face to face.

Happened to me with the first girl I dated from OKC earlier this year. Went on 5 dates in a 3 week span then my attempt to create the 6th date was canceled 3 times. I didn't even try to reschedule, she would suggest another day and then cancel somtime during that day.

Best excuse I had from a girl is that she forgot she had a doctor's appointment. On a Friday night.

Last Monday - Her Dad got her sick
Last Wednesday - She had to go to the Police Station because she was involved in a Hit and Run
Yesterday - Her best friend was in an accident.

At this point, I'm not even communicating with her. If she was interested and cared she'd initiate it.

I really didn't feel like meeting up with her that day...told her...she hasn't replied since. It's OK, she wasn't all that from her pics.

I met my wife through an online dating site. However, I did go through my share of meeting some crazy women.

I went out with this one girl from Tulsa two years ago who went super-clingy on me; basically started texting me non-stop, sent me a Merry Christmas text on Christmas that I reluctantly responded to, she ended up sending me a text in response that said "You need to make up your mind if you want me or not."

Crazy.
