Okay we need to start up a points system and be keeping score to see who is the OS OKCupid champion. Maybe a point for a date, 2 points for a second date, 5 points if you "close the deal", 8 if it turns into a relationship, 10 for getting engaged, 20 for married. I'm sure all of us here re comfortable with the honor system. And at the end of 2013 we'll decide our winner? Of course these are the kind of bets that always get guys in trouble in those movies and tv shows.

I would be at 20 from this past year. If we're going to start counting in the new year, I've got a head start with a date set up for the 1st.

Another opinion question. So let's say you have been talking to a girl for a few weeks and enjoy spending time with her and all that, but keep your profile and check it every now and again and share messages with other unsuspecting females. Anything wrong with that?

That's something you have to talk with the girl about. Once you hit close to a month of dating I would expect exclusivity talks to come up and disabling your profiles. If its still just casual dating then there's nothing wrong with messaging other women.

My ex and I left our profiles up for about a month while we were dating, but after the first week of seeing her I didn't message anyone else. She eventually took hers down because she had 3 weeks worth of messages she never responded to.

Messed around on that meetme site and just used the same line/opener on every chick, opened every message with "Hey I love you" "their response" "Sorry, I'm just so enamored by your beauty" *their response* "Lets go on a date". These were college aged girls but I've gotten quite a bit of numbers and 3-4 yes's on dates. I'm leaving to get my place set up for school in a few days so none of them will happen, but thought it was funny at how easy it can be with girls in my age range.

Not sure never used that one. The vast majority of the girls on MeetMe are probably still in high school or just got out. Not really worth the time in my opinion.
