LoL... People thought Obama coming into office would change the AA community. I knew nothing would change. Is it me or does just about everyone lack accountability in America? If something goes wrong it's somebodies elses fault...

Somebody else mentioned Obama in this thread. And in my life whenever I bring up a problem in the AA community(which this subject is), people usually say "Well Obama is in office now, things will get better."

I get tired of hearing that. No accountability...

My point is to DC and everyone else, don't dwell on the shortcomings of others, thrive in it.

It was DC's example at the circus, but yes its all races who have this problem. The thing that usually is the same across the races, is the type of person.

Looks like their father wasn't there. Which if he was there (and was a real father) that would have never happened. If saw my daughter doing that I would ring her neck right on the spot and wouldn't care what anybody else thought.

That's probably why they acted like that, their fathers are either non-existent or they are around and they ain't really doing their jobs.

A real father would never have his daughters act like that.

Daughters will do as their mothers do. It's not really a father thing.

Some great posts in this thread. From what i can see the problem is just going to keep getting worse and worse.

It seems the worse the education and socio-economic conditions of a region the higher the birth rate so basically those that can least afford and least properly cope with having (and most importantly) raising a child are the ones doing it.

In my country the government has a means tested payment most people call the "baby bonus" which basically gives you 5 grand if you have a child. The problem with that is it encourages poorer / less educated people to have children just for this one off payment even though a child costs hundreds of thousands throughout their lives. Lots of people now call it the "plasma bonus" because that's how many people spend the money.

As a father of a young daughter (6 month old) there is no way in hell i'm going to let my daughter be raised to turn into that kind of women.
