I know you cannot plead ignorance, but if you can prove that your state has no law like this, there was no posted proof of this law on the interstate, and that you never really drove through this area before so it was all new you should be able to get off.

Re: I was pulled over by Central PA State Troopers today...
I was driving home from school talking on my cell in downtown Chicago, and a cop on a motorcycle pulls up along side me at a red light.
Cop: Do you know it's illegal to talk on your phone.
Me: No sir (knowing damn well Chicago is a hands-free city).
Cop: Are you from around here?
Me: (Remembering my car is in my dad's name and I have Michigan plates), no I'm from Michigan. I'm here visiting my sister.
Cop: Well... it's illegal to talk on you're cell while driving, but I'm going to let you off with a warning. Get a bluetooth.
*Drives away*
A couple months later I'm late for work. I am doing 80 down Lakeshore, weaving in and out of lanes, and I see a cop just waiting. I slow down as much as I can, he turns on the lights, pulls out, and pulls me over.
He clocked me going 70 in a 40!
Me: I'm so sorry sir, I was late going to work and I know that's no excuse. Oh man, I'm so sorry...
The cop takes my license and registration, runs my plates, comes back and is like "I'm going to let you off with a huge warning". Watch your speed

Re: I was pulled over by Central PA State Troopers today...
The cops a town over from my old home town would pull you over for doing 26 in the 25 no lie.
To get into that town from one way you cross over this bridge and the speed dropped from 45 to 25 halfway across. Right at the end is a car dealership, they would just sit there and pick people off one by one.Comment

Wait a minute, I was born and raised in Chicago, how the hell you get away not once, but twice ? But then again Chicago is widely known for having crooked cops and showing favoritism towards certain kinds of people.
But everybody else, you better not drop a piece of hair on the ground or else you going to have 4 or 6 cops on you. I have had a friend get a ticket for driving with this windows down, no lie. Cop on Lake Shore Drive said did you know all that air is distracting and cause you to have an accident ?
$175 ticket. Took it to court, $175 ticket plus $75 in court fees.Comment

I don't know how it is in other places but in Martinsburg WV cops have a quota to meet with how many tickets to give out. Ithink the quota is almost time because cops have been everywhere lately. The past 2 weeks I have seen them everywhere. We once got a ticket for a barely flat tire.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: I was pulled over by Central PA State Troopers today...
What's ironic, here in Arizona is that people tend to always slow down when people pull over for accidents so they can see the damage and it causes more accidents.
You'll see a 7 car pile up that's been built up over an hour in 3 different accidents. Terrible drivers here, because its a mix of all types of drivers from all over the country.Comment

Re: I was pulled over by Central PA State Troopers today...
if no one is along side of you on the left, it is obvious that you should move over to the left lane to give vehicles on the side of the road some space. Of course, I am from Wisconsin and we were voted the best drivers in the US (along with Idaho) Always use common sense on roadways.Comment
