I don't have a problem using one. If I'm on the way home and its just misting, then I probably won't, but if its raining enough to get you wet, I'm using an umbrella.

I don't use an umbrella. Most of the time if im going out in the rain, I just throw on a jacket since im not gonna be outside long to NEED an umbrella. Hope that makes sense to everyone lol.#RespectTheCultureComment

 Re: Men and Umbrellas

Not using an umbrella when it's raining = not wearing sweater/jacket when it's cold = makes no sense.

If it's just a light rain I won't bother, but if it's pouring out I make sure I have one on me.Comment

 Re: Men and Umbrellas

This morning I put on my Phillies windbreaker jacket, which is waterproof. Maybe I'd put a hat on if I hadn't let my hair grow out so long now that none of my fitted's FIT anymore.

But like I said...I'd only use an umbrella if wearing a suit.

Otherwise it seems effeminate to me. It's a freaking polo shirt and jeans for crying out loud...it's not like your Sunday best.

We're men...we're not going to melt in the rain.

 Re: Men and Umbrellas

I generally decline to use an umbrella. However after walking nearly half a mile from the parking lot to one of the buildings on my campus in the pouring rain I have decided that I may need to go find where my girlfriend has placed the extra umbrella in the house. It pretty much looked like I had just jumped into a swimming pool with all my clothes on.Comment

I'll admit it; I'm a horses' fanny. I don't use them, even when it is pouring. Speak of the devil, it's raining cats and dogs today. I just came back into the office from going out to lunch and I'm a little wet. I've really got to remember to start using one.New Jersey Devils- 1995, 2000, 2003
