What the? There is no excuse that makes it ok for her to put your XBox in a lit BBQ grill for you to find. That's some malicious garbage man, F that. Put the garbage bag full of her clothes next to the rest of the trash on the street. If she has keys, call the locksmith. Dump that chick. Ideally you'd want to get your money back somehow but that'll be another headache. I don't even think I'd be able to follow my own advice here (the first part only) but forget about the money and cut all ties with her. Don't even give her face time until you can forget about the money.

Another place you went wrong, I would never hit a girl, but sometimes you got to scare their @#$ a little bit. My girl is pretty cool about games, she been whinning a little because she is laid off. I know she gets bored now which I understand. Still in very rare times you got to set them stright and tell them firmly what is what.

in my barbque grill today. Last night I was brushing up on my NCAA by playing some 09 and she got mad because I didnt want to watch a movie with her. She said I spend to much time playing video games and I called her some names and then she stormed out. Today I got home and found a note on my kitchen counter that said look in the grill and there it was and the grill was lit. The bottom of it is a little melted and the power will come on but a game wont play on it. Is it possible she melted something inside the box? I dont have the money to buy a new one and am looking forward to NCAA 10. Does anyone know if I can buy repair parts for an Xbox on ebay? I'm pretty good with electronics and could probably repair it. Does anyone here have an old Xbox they want to unload? Thanks!

Women like that have no business in relationships. It's that simple. My first reaction if something like that were to ever happen to me would be to get even but what good would that do? That is really one of those situations where you just have to take it. The only thing that saves the topic starter from having to eat the loss is that his dumb gf left the note. That's proof right there. Take it to small claims court and make the law force her to pay you back.

My fiance read me this post. I was in a relationship with someone for 10 years-- the only thing that ever got me to the point of wanting to destroy a gaming system is ---- TOO MUCH GAMING!!
I have never done anything like that and wouldn't--- I just left his SORRY *** for someone who knows when to stop playing and LIVE IN REALITY. Sorry she ruined your system, but I would safely assume that is the least of your problems

You may not want it to,but it's time to end the relationship.Take it from someone who had an ex set his car on fire,you need to move on.This will be just the first step,once she has it in her mind that she can hurt you by destroying things it will just continue to get worse.The fact that she does not have a job nor money of her own probably does factor into it,misery loves company and she probably hates the fact that you can afford something nice that entertains you.

Just spent the last 10 minutes talking to her. She said she and a friend drank some Everclear mixed with Epsom salt today and that she doesnt even remember doing what she did. I really think she knows she messed up and wants to come home but Im done with her. Its one thing after another. The only thing is that she has no where to go and if I throw her out she is going to be homeless. I dont know if I can do that. I might tell her that if she will buy me a new Xbox and NCAA 2010 she can come back.
