Regardless of Kennedy, whatever, my comment isn't anything about him but in general, since the comment came up.

People always say "You gotta respect the man" or "Fine, don't respect what someone's done, but at least respect him as a person."

I don't agree with that at all. People can do things that absolutely make someone lose any right to command respect as people.

Again, this has nothing to do with Kennedy, just that concept.
