Cute girl at the new sandwich shop down the hill from me. Very cute. She was real friendly when I went there the first time, asked me how my day was as she was ringing me up, etc.

I go in again another day, she wasn't there.

Went in yesterday and she was there. Rung me up, then later when I asked for my parking ticket to be validated, she asked me how it was. Told her I was "addicted to the food" (which I am) and she's like "Yeah, I've seen you in here a few times haha). Then she asked me my name, all of this while ringing someone else up. I didn't know whether to give her my real name since it's really difficult or just tell her Harry, but I told her Harry. I told her my real name is difficult and she's like "Oh really? What nationality are you?". I said Armenian, and she's like "Oh yeah, they have tough names." I asked her what her name was and her nationality as well then left because she was busy.

Do you think it's just innocent talk?

She definitely interested. The fact that she continued to have a conversation with u while ringing up someone else, plus she was asking about u. U didn't have to ask what her nationality was, but ur lucky it didn't hurt in this situation. She would just think ur asking that because she did, which would lead her to think u don't have a mind of your own.

I've learned over the years that less is more. If a chick is interested, just shut up and say the most basic things, and cut to the chase. U don't wanna risk saying something stupid where u don't even get a chance to go out with her.

I think I'm finally getting better at catching hints re: females, lol. There's a girl who works at my local convenience store that's been chatting me up a lot lately; telling me what time she gets out, how tired she is, what she's doing after work, etc. Girl is a total sweetheart but unfortunately she's really not my type. I wish I was more attracted to her because she's got a great personality, which isn't always easy to find in a girl.

Yea Matrix, it definitely sounds like she was interested so I would do what Bird said and make some more small talk with her and then go in for the kill(number lol)after that.

And PP, you ain't lyin about that, as I've learned over the years myself, especially since my last "situation"(one about the chick and the shoes lmao). The more you rap a chick up(talk her to death)the less interested they are in you, although this is not the case for ALL females.

And Matt, you weren't attracted to her physically or just weren't attracted to her at all?

I'm always a bit leery of people who's money is tied into being "nice" ..ie. better tips. Is she that flirty with other guy patrons?

Tips working as a simple cashier and a sandwich shop? I don't know about that. Either way, he should be able to pull her if his game is tight enough. If not, who cares...she's a CASHIER!

I haven't noticed her being flirty with anyone else.

But I mean, I work a register too. I've never asked for any of my customer's names. Besides, this was after my meal, after I had paid, etc. No tip thing involved.

well, they key thing here is how good are those sandwiches? And is there another restaurant of this place you can go to if things get awkward. It would suck to have to lose out on some good sandwiches because you hit on the cashier and she rejected you.
