I got a bloody nose this morning from my new puppy, she punches when she wakes up and she punched me in the face really well today. She also stomps to wake me up.

Sounds brutal lol. I was just kneeling down and the dog (Bella - Yellow lab puppy) jumped up real fast and clocked me in the nose with the top of her head

My family's first Newf who we only had for about 1 1/2 years due to bad timing in getting him (We were getting ready to move and the new house didn't yet have a good backyard) used to head butt me in the nose all the time.

And where do you work jnes? Puppy training school? Doggy daycare?

Another dog we only had for about 10 months due to behavioral problems always gave me bloody noses. She would try to jump up and lick my face, but she'd be to excited and hit me in the nose with her teeth instead. My sister's sister-in-law's dog actually did that to me over the summer. Thor also gave me a bloody nose once when he was a pup. He swung his head up with his mouth open and his lower canine went up my nostril.

My mother adopted another dog without telling me. I woke up this morning and no one was home. An hour later, she pulls up with a year-old Bichon/Poodle mix. She hopes that this one (a girl) will be a companion to the Bichon/Poodle we have had for a year (a boy). The boy is a bit bipolar, but I think it is a good sign that he hasn't tried to kill her yet. He was acting extra needy today. I had to tell him to man up.

Is it weird that I like dogs better than most humans?

For example, I check this thread almost every-time I see a new post but, if there were a baby/kid thread I would never visit it. Sorry Dads.

Zoe is the yellow lab getting ready to turn 9. Jet is the black lab who just turned 15 weeks on Monday. He's a handful and Zoe hates him.
