They get along fine, they usually play 3 or 4 times during the day and hang out together out in the backyard chasing birds. I've never had a cat-dog issues, I think its because when the cats were brought in, they were kittens. And since they're adults, the dogs were puppies when they were brought in- never brought in an adult dog or cat into the mix which I think is key to it

There are times when the cat gets tired of her and will just smack her so she gets the idea its time to slow down

I've posted a few videos in the past of my dog Miley the Boston Terrier doing agility, well this past weekend we finally accomplished what we've been working towards, the Master Agility Champion (MACH) title. The MACH is the highest AKC agility title you can earn. Once you reach the highest division in agility, Excellent B, you start earning MACH points for each second you finish a course under the standard course time. To get your MACH title you have to accumulate 750 MACH points plus have 20 double qualification runs. A double Q is when you have perfect runs on both of your courses on a trial day. Miley completed her 20th double Q back in October, but we still needed around 200 more MACH points to finish the title. This past Friday at a trial in Nashville, TN we got those final points and got the title.

If you are interested, here is a video that shows her 20th double Q back in October and then her run this past weekend when she got her 750th MACH point to get the Championship title. If you watch to the end of the 3rd run you get to see our victory lap and take a bar off the course as a trophy!

Weather warming up, puppy is pretty adventurous with water so it doesn't look like it'll be much of an issue come summer time

I REALLY want to get me a German Shepherd pup, but I just don't have the time or space to take care of it properly so that is why I haven't got one. I feel that if you can't take care of a dog properly, you shouldn't have one. But I have some colleagues and friends who have German Shepherds and they are so adorable and affectionate. I'll stop by their houses and the dogs just treat me like gods. They don't jump on me, they don't bark at me, and they just sit right by me as I sit down and rub their heads against me to say "I like you. You aren't going to hurt my master and you're a friend. I'll defend you if anything wants to hurt you." It's just affection that you can never get from any other creature on this planet.

They have truly earned the title of Man's Best Friend

I have a 7 lb chihuahua and when she hears a noise that startles her the first thing she does is put her side against me and start growling at what she hears. I love my pup!

Check out rescues around you, they always have a dog for someone but you have to be committed to it
