Put in an application for adoption on a puppy today, its a mix of lab and unknown, really hoping it goes through. Never adopted a dog this way before so hopefully there won't be any competition, pretty excited about potentially getting a new puppy. I guess the adoption agency fosters them out but you still have to apply through them to get it, my moms cousin currently has the dog while they find a home for it.



On the right, both seem like really good puppies, very mellow.

Back story on the puppies is someone dumped a female dog out in the country, turned out she was pregnant and had a litter of 10, the person who lives on the farm where the mom got dumped kept her but put the pups up for adoption, 6 have been picked out so far, last 4 are fostered out atm while the agency finds permanent homes for them, my moms cousin adopted one and is fostering these two while they get placed.

Why did you keep letting her get out?

I would be at work when it happened. My mom watches my kids while me and the wife are at work and anytime the door got opened she was making a break for it.

This is Baxter (yes, after Anchorman)



We got him from the pound back in September after our old dog Fletcher (beagle) passed away. Baxter's definitely got a lot of corgi in him (short legs, ears, tail) but also some sort of bigger breed, since he's larger than your standard corgi. Also has the cool mismatched eyes (one brown, one blue almost to the point of albino). They seem to think he's about a year old, so he still has some puppy energy to him... and for such short little legs, he sure can move.

That's just an awesome picture. I love the look of the dog on the right's face. Classic.

New pup! Got her for my wife, but I think I'm having more fun than she is!

This pic was right before I bought her (previous owner saying her goodbyes.)

I bought her off CL. Original owner bought her for Christmas, but quickly found it was too much responsibility for her. Put her up on CL a week later for the cheap. I have all the paperwork and shot records. It's a soft-coated wheaten terrier.

My dog Ruffles. We got her from someone who picked her up from animal rescue. She was in a puppy mill before that and no one knows how old she really is.

Forgot to update this post got so busy getting everything set and working on training/housebreaking him, here are a couple updated pictures, I named him Barkley (was always a huge fan of Charles Barkley when I was younger and I have always liked Barkley as a dog name):
