I'm sure it was for you living all the way out in Arizona. While the people of new york were devastated by the trade center attacks. I Lost two family members when the south tower went down and my emotions clung to baseball because that was really the only thing anyone in my family had at that point.

I was a high schooler and was at the Browns/Broncos AFC Championship game, aka "The Drive".
One minute we were celebrating in the stands, and the next, well.....
Also: The 1997 WS against the bought-and-paid-for Marlins
The Shot: Jordan over Ehlo
The Fumble: Byner at the goal line in Denver
I truly believe the city of Cleveland's cursed....moreso than even the Cubs.(The city of Chicago has won numerous championships in all sports, and Jordan never left to try elsewhere...)Last edited by Segagendude; 07-18-2010, 12:43 AM.Comment

The reason is hurt so much for myself and other Bears fans because the players left the field and they immediately started to destroy one of the most historic stadiums in sports.Last edited by Kevin26385; 07-18-2010, 06:03 PM.Comment

These, plus:
Robert Horry's shot to beat the Kings in the WCF back when the Shaq/Kobe Lakers had their 3peat.
Not playoffs, but postseason: 1983 Orange Bowl - Nebraska goes for 2/the win vs. Miami and doesn't get it. Wasn't alive for this one, but I've watched the game replay and everytime I see this highlight it's just awful.Yankees | Titans | Huskers | Kings

Game 6 of the 06 NLCS, When I saw Endy's catch I felt we were destined to win the pennant but then came Yadier's HR. That was deep fly ball at best but the wind some how decided to carry it. Even Yadier was surprised that it went out.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

That hurt. The ending was so anticlimactic after the catch that Chavez made. Like you said, I didn't think there was any way the Mets would lose after that play. Imagine if the Giants had lost Super Bowl 42 against the Patriots despite Tyree's catch. Would have been such a waste of a great moment.New Jersey Devils- 1995, 2000, 2003
