Broncos lost AFC Championship vs Steelers, 34-17. Homefield and they kept turning the ball over.

Rockies swept in '07 by the Red Sox

Does this count? Sidney ****ing Crosby beating the US in OT for the gold medal in Vancouver. Had to be Sidney, huh? I was so close to crying. I took a shot of whiskey instead.

And...this one took me a good two days to get over. It's still kinda raw.

I don't think I'd ever cry over a loss, but these events hurt the most.

        Packers

+Favre's INT in the NFC Championship game against the Giants in 08 (07 season).
+Rodgers kicking the ball right to Dansby last year in the playoffs

Ghana scoring in the 107th minute against the US.

Those are a couple off of the top of my head.

Off topic, but. Only time a sports event has actually made me cry was in 1989. I was 8 and Don Majkowski (via instant replay official) stole a regular season game against the Bears. Complete BS. The Bears put an asterisk by it in their records and denote it as the instant replay game.

Something like that may make me shed a tear, but I'm not sure. Though I do think I'd let the tears pour down if I were to bet a lot of money on a game and lose it in a heart-breaking fashion.

                LOL.

Not really playoffs, but, when John Parker Wilson choked against LSU in Bryant-Denny in 2007, I cried after the game. I hate LSU more than Auburn.

When Bill Buckner had the ground ball go through his legs I was speechless and at an age where I really thought all the talk of a curse may be true.

Another would be Dan Marino's final game against the Jaguars in the playoffs. That one hurt so much I still can't stand to think of it. He did manage a drive before the half for a TD but still, the way they lost that game..just awful for Marino.

Oh man, I remember that one really well. 62-7, and the sprinklers went off near the end, didn't they?

Anytime the Colts gagged against the Chargers in the playoffs.

This is a great thread by the way. A lot of very memorable moments in sports. Tough ones but very memorable.
