'97 Superbowl. Packers lose to Broncos. I can't stand seeing the replays of that game. "This one's for John." Blah blah blah.

Well, not crying, but when LeBron dunked over the Pistons (1997 playoffs?) that was a bad moment for Pistons fans...

I cried after Virginia Tech lost to Florida State in the Sugar Bowl to lose the National Championship. I also cried that same year when Jacksonville lost to Tennessee in the AFC Championship.

I never cried over my favorite sports teams losses, but when the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Philadelphia Flyers in 7 games in 2003-2004, it was tough. That was such an awesome playoff run. Also, when the New Jersey Devils came back from down 3-1 in the series in 1999-2000. The whole Lindros fiasco and him getting knocked out yet again in that Game 7, it was a bit much.

There's been a few, the most recent being game 7 of Caps-Pens. So heartbreaking (well, that series in its entirety was; two overtime goals that go in off your own player, losing the 2-0 lead, etc etc).

                            Devils:

-Losing Game 7 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Finals to the Rangers in double overtime.

-Getting eliminated in the first round in 1998 and 1999 after being the top seed in the Eastern Conference heading into the postseason. Two great regular seasons pissed away in one playoff round each time.

                            NY Giants:

-Blowing a 9-point lead against Minnesota with two minutes left in the 1997 Wild Card round.

-Blowing a 38-14 lead against the 49ers in the 2002 Wild Card round.

-Losing in the first round of the playoffs to the Eagles last year after starting 11-1 and beating every team that eventually made it to the NFC and AFC Championship Games during the regular season. I really thought the Giants would repeat last year; then Plaxico Burress decided to be a moron.
