    I work w/a cat lady

I've always heard stories of the crazy cat woman who lives by herself. Now I work w/one.

We've got a tackboard @ work where employees put up pics of their kids & grandkids. So I come in & see 2 pictures of cats. I ask who put it up there & they tell me its the new hire. They then say she calls them her kids. She has 28 of them.

    Let me repeat that.....

    28 frikkin' cats!!!
One of the pics up there she took on that particualr cat's birthday. She threw it a party & bought him a Birthday cake. Not just any b-day cake, mind you. A Spiderman birthday cake. Apparently, this particular feline likes Peter Parker??!?!?? What the......????

She says all of them don't live in the house. She keeps 3 outside. Apparently, 25 cats in the home is ok. But once you go over that, you're freaking nuts? Nice to know the threshold.

I asked my supervisor did they do a background check. What I've mostly heard about cat ladies is two things. They always carry a hatchet & never think you can have too many body parts stored in the frig.

I'm wondering if I should fear for my life. I know I'm going to stay out of her way.

Dear lord. I can see it now. She's going to get fired, then come back & go scratch postal on us.

Just makes me think of Danny McBride in Pineapple Express with his birthday cake for his dead cat.

          "This cake is private."

            WOW!!! 28 cats? Geez.

I have two cats and I love having them around, but I couldn't handle more than two. 28 would be a zoo. That's just weird.

That's not her house fellas. That's just a pic I found to illustrate what her home must look like. Sorry if I misled anybody. I'd imagine there are more than 28 felines in that pic.

My dad used to install heating units in houses and i went on a few calls with him, cat houses were the worst. I dont know how anyone could live in there, but the smell of cat urine is can be very strong.

If you guys ever have a pot luck party at work do not allow her to bring anything she made. You know you are going to find cat hair in it.
