Just stop eating fast food, and only drink water. That alone will help you out a ton. I did that back when I actually had weight to lose and I dropped 50 lbs in 3-4 months. I probably lost 20 lbs in the first month, but I was also playing pick-up games a few times a week so I burned a lot of calories that way.

Cardio is your friend as well. Do little things, like parking farther out when you go somewhere so you have to walk more. Doesn't sound like much, but those things add up.

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum though, I'm trying to gain weight. It's a LOT harder IMO than losing weight.
Exactly, do some weight lifting also. When you have more muscle you lose a lot more body fat. 20 pounds in 20 days just sounds like water weight is all your losing definitely not healthy and you will not be able to keep off the weight with out muscle. Also the five meals (small healthy meals) will help boost your metabolism the right way. NEVER take a dietary supplement to boost your metabolism.

Not true the paleolithic diet shows why during the Neanderthal times they were so skinny. It was because of what they ate. The wrestling coach i lift weights with is I think 5'11'' weighs 180sh and benches 350 can do like 30 something pull ups in a row. Diets fail because the people give up on them or some diets don't work with people because that is how there body is. Everyones body is different meaning they all work different and need different nutrients.

I'm 6 feet tall I used to weigh 210 with body fat of 23 as of January 1st. Now I am at 180( this morning) with the body fat of 13. I mostly just lift weights too. I have a 30 minute cardio session afterwards I am on the paleolithic diet also now and i feel great.
Along with the paleolithic diet I take fish oil plus all my other vitamins, nitric oxide before lifting, war during lifting and whey protein isolate after then cession protein at night. I never eat a thing after 8 p.m besides my cession protein before bed.
From what I have learned building muscle is the best way to lose and keep off weight. I also eat five meals a day to boost my metabolism and have a big breakfast in the morning.

It is possible but not healthy.
Exactly, I'm trying to gain my weight back with muscle. I want to at least by 220 by the time I'm 25. I'm 18 right now at 180. I just want to burn fat and gain as much muscle as I can.

I like the theory, it makes sense. However, everyone has their own theory, and a bit of what I'm reading about is in regards to the past as well. According to Gabriel, FAT means "Famine and Temperature" which pertain to how our body has always been in-sync with our mentality. So if I'm in a time of famine, my body will absorb every single thing I eat and try to make it into fat - to keep me warm.

So now, the understanding is that we have FAT programs within our mind-body connection that needs to be turned off, so that our body will understand that whatever we eat - does not have to turn into fat, but nutrients. Now, it's not saying eat whatever you want...it's a process of eliminating the desire for such foods.

The description on the web and website is a lot better - of course the book is great so far. I've lost 3 pounds (2nd week) by just working on some of the meditation methods. Not saying this is THE way, but I feel enlightened and am at a stage in my life where I do not feel like messing around with other theories (and this includes weight lifting theories as well).

Exciting journey for all of us, I'm really excited about my new plan and once I figure out some more of what it is exaclty - I'll divulge. Till then everyone good luck!
