Congrats to both bluengold34 and yourself. You have peaked my interest brother. PM me your diet. I don't need to lose any weight I'm just interested in seeing how you did that without working out. Is it the "Prison Camp" diet?

      Weight doesn't mean anything. I honestly add/lose 5-8 pounds a day.

If you want to get "thinner" then just starve yourself. If you want to get healthier and leaner then diet, exercise etc....

It is possible but not healthy.

Yeah, just like JR said, its very possible although not healthy. Just so happens that I've had an infection in my mouth since last Wednesday and I haven't been able to eat since then. I lost about 10 pounds already but I feel weak and terrible. If you're going to lose the weight, just make sure you go about the healthy way.

Okay...you're going to want to put your head through a windshield though.
            It's pretty simple.
            Either...one egg...one banana....one orange....one chicken breast...broccoli.....one apple.....salsa....mayo...two cups of coffee(no sugar).....and a couple of slices of cheddar cheese..
            ....or
...the same as above....take out the egg and replace it with one can of tuna in water.

Nothing but water to drink(except for the coffee...I couldn't give that up).

            Here is what I did...

            Day "A"
            Breakfast
            Egg....banana...one cup of coffee

            Lunch
            Orange...cup of coffee

            Dinner
Chicken Breast Broiled or Boiled....put as much salsa as you want(make sure it's one with no sugar) ...water
I would sometimes steam vegetables(broccoli mostly) with this.

At around 8 PM I would have the apple sliced either plain or with some cheddar cheese.

            Day B

            Breakfast
            banana....two cups of coffee

            Lunch
            Tuna with mayo......

            Dinner
            Chicken Breast....vegetables....

            Apple at 8 PM.
That's it. Nothing else in between except plenty of water.

            Doesn't sound bad....Days 1,2,3,4,5 or 6....after that...

Don't forget, Blue might be taller than you.

At the beginning of the year I was almost 225 lbs. Back in March, I somehow started losing weight for no apparent reason. I started noticing the pounds coming off. I then decided to really change my eating habits.

I cut out pop since I used to drink 3-4 cans a day, I cut coffee where I would have 1-2 cups a day w/coffemate creamer, and cutback on the fast food. With my liquids, I was taking in well over 1,000 calories a day. I started introducing more salads into my diet and drinking 6-8 bottles of water a day. I never ate breakfast, but now I eat dry cereal each morning. Today I am down to around 184. I went from a 42" waist back down to 38".....getting close to 36". I wouldn't mind getting down to 175lbs., but it won't look right.

drink only water, eat very boring brown rice, chicken, tune, baked potato.

Do 45 min of cardio 3min sprint, 3min walk, 3min jog intervals.
After that do a circuit weight training routine.
                Gaming hard since 1988

I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.

Only 6 ft tall here. I was running 5 to 8 miles every other day, and worked in the gym every other day. I had a 32 inch waist, but I had a lot of muscle weight. Its not a fun lifestyle, as you almost have to consume yourself with these habits.

Wow, congrats to blue and knight, thats quite the accomplishment. I lost 60 lbs in a little under a year. I had a very slow methodical way of losing the weight to ensure that I would keep it off when I stopped dieting. For the most part I have, I think the lowest my weight got was 203-205, and now I'm up to around 210. Considering at one point freshman year of college I was in the 270's I'm happy with where I am now.

I have no advice on how to lose weight quickly (as I took the long route), but I think one thing that really helped me lose the initial few lbs was cutting out soda, and pretty much any beverage but water. The sugar and caleories many people consume just from soda is alot, especially how bad I was. You could probably drop 5 lbs or so just from drinking water.

                    Good luck!

Nice job Bro......taking the slow and methodical route, is typically the best way to do it. I know we are all instant gratification whores, but slow and low that is the tempo...is a great approach

Book I'm reading now - The Gabriel Method - it's more of a mental book, but has some very easy quick tips. It's not promoting a diet either - because those ALWAYS fail.

Bingo...to clarify, I agree that dieting is the wrong way to look at weight loss. The word diet, to me, means there is a beginning, middle and eventual end of a program. Sure you lose weight, exercise, and eat well for awhile. Once your "diet" ends though it's really about that life style change. That's why I took the slow route, I was more focused on keeping the weight off than actually losing it. Changing your mental approach to diet and exercise is truly the key to bettering your health.
