Yup. Always if possible as long as it isn't some stupid thing where you can't save (kinda negates the point there) or to unlock things it's otherwise possible to unlock. I don't mind not getting achievements though. I wouldn't pay for cheats like EA tries to make you do either.

You haven't played Saint's Row 2 until you've thrown a stripper off the roof of the airport hotel with low gravity on and jumped off after her with unlimited health.

I was pissed when Hitman Bloodmoney didn't have the nailgun cheat anymore.

I wish we still had the "game enhancers" too. The best part about that is all that BS "DLC" that's already on the disc you'd be able to get by using one.

I use youtube walkthroughs. That's about it. I didn't even know it was possible to use cheat codes anymore.

Ha, that's funny. The moment the original poster mentioned heading onto AOL to find codes that was the first site that came to mind. I'd use Happy Puppy for codes on the original Need For Speed and Need For Speed II for PC. I'm pretty sure I used to use codes all the time on Goldeneye as well, but I also think the infinite ammo and whatnot was unlockable, was it not?

I don't really now, but when I was younger I did. Contra anyone?

I do however, use cheat codes on GTA. I love going on the killing sprees.

My friend began by referring to Happy Puppy, but then he went onto using Cheat Code Central. I was a fan of Game Winners and I would often check out another one as well, I can't remember the name though. I just remember submitting a code to the site and being so proud of myself for seeing my name up there. I was a doof, definitely.

EDIT: I think it might have been Super Cheats. Though the name doesn't sound strikingly familiar, I think the layout is somewhat the same (we're talking eight years ago though) with the "orange" look to it. But Game Winners was definitely my favorite.

The hardest cheat I ever earned was on Goldeneye. Beating the facility on the hardest level in under 2 min and 5 sec. Took me forever--at least 150 tries.. Got it down to 1 min 47 once.

No, I don't. I used them back in the NES days though. I would feel dirty if I did that type of thing today.

Same here. Oh, and I spent some time with my 9 y/o nephew a few months ago, and the kid was playing The Sims. He was using cheats to get everything he wanted, didn't make the slightest effort to do it himself. I tried to explain him why he shouldn't use cheats, but he didn't really care about that.
                    My Specs:

                    RAM: 48 KB
